Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, cared for hamsters, and even now I share my home with two amazing rescue dogs, a pampered rescue cat, a turtle, and some fish I adore! My oldest dog, Annie, came to me at 5 years old after a tough start in life. She was timid and shut down, but with love and patience, she blossomed into a confident, happy girl. My other dog, Chip, was rescued as a puppy when no one wanted him—something I’ll never understand. He’s been my shadow ever since. I even rescued a cat from Dubai who was about to be abandoned during severe floods. She now lives a life full of love, comfort, and cuddles. Caring for animals is a passion for me. I truly melt with any animal I meet, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I only wish I’d pursued this path sooner, but now I’m making that dream a reality. What sets me apart is my genuine love , patience and care I offer to every animal, especially those who need a little extra time and understanding. Shanice was great looking after our nervous 7 year old Border Collie and 8 year old cheeky Lhasa apso. We got lots of photos and were happy knowing they were both being very well looked after. Wouldn’t hesitate to book Shanice again.
Shanice was excellent with Puzzle. Kind and gentle with her and Puzzle enjoyed her walks with her. Shanice took photos of Puzzle when walking her so I was always able to watch her. I would recommend Shanice as she loves animals and Puzzle loved her!
Shanice was superb with my dog Bella, and I can't recommend her enough! Shanice was quick at responding and made the whole booking process really easy. We met in advance to give her the chance to meet Bella in advance and Shanice was really accommodating throughout the whole process. Bella got a tour of the house, we went out for a big walk and immediately my mind was at ease and it was clear Bella would have great fun and was in capable hands. It was clear straight from the start that Shanice has lots of experience with animals (not just cats and dogs) and can manage all dog types, big and small. Throughout Bellas stay with Shanice, me and my family got loads of photos, videos and messages giving daily updates, and it was clear that my dog Bella was having a ball! I honestly can't recommend Shanice highly enough - if you're looking for an experienced animal lover to look after your loved one for walks or stay overs while you are away or on holiday, I'd highly recommend Shance (and we'll definitely be using her again in future if she's available!)
Ive known Shanice for a few years now. She is an excellent pet mummy, and when visiting her home her animals are always content and happy. I would 100% trust Shanice to look after my own girls (2 spoiled cats). She absolutely adores her animals (and everyone else’s) and she is a natural animal care giver.
Shanice is one of the most kind, compassionate, loving people I know. She is naturally empathetic and gifted with animals and I can’t recommend her highly enough to care for your beloved pets. She is a true animal lover and has an affinity with all animals, whether it be to help them rest or play. I know Shanice would treat any animal in her care as her own, and people can trust their fur babies will be loved and well cared for. She is reliable, trustworthy and punctual, and always does her very best.
Shanice is the ultimate caregiver to any animal she comes across. She prioritises the needs of the animal over anything else and will always ensure every animal she is in the company of has everything it needs to be cared for and happy. I know Shanice has a place in her heart for any pet she would be lucky enough to look after no matter the length of time - she truly has a heart of gold and the knowledge to back it up

Schedule
I work a 24-hour on, 48-hour off shift pattern—which means I’ve got loads of free time to spend with your furry (or scaly!) friends. On my days off, I’m home and fully available for walks, cuddles, and playtime. I live with my partner who’s just as animal-obsessed as I am, so there’s always someone around to give our own little zoo plenty of love! When I’m working, our dogs love going for a little holiday at gran and grandad’s, and sometimes they even tag along to work with me (they’re practically on payroll at this point earning pawnies!) I’ll always check in with you before making any plans, and if anything comes up last minute and I can help—you can count on me. Flexibility, fun, and furry cuddles are what I’m all about! I also would have my doggos stay at their grandparents for the duration of your dogs stay!

Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m popping over to care for them in your home, their safety and happiness are always my top priority. I treat every animal like they’re part of my own little crew—and that means lots of love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. My home is pet-friendly, calm, and secure, with plenty of space for relaxing, playing, and cuddling up. I have two friendly dogs who are great with other animals, plus a cat who does her own thing and a turtle who’s surprisingly social! If your pet prefers their own space or needs a quieter setup, I can absolutely accommodate that too! In your home, I make sure to stick to your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, keeping everything familiar and stress-free. I’ll send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and safe, and I always make sure your home is respected and left just as I found it.

A typical day
I would pre agree a plan with you for your dog which you are happy with! This could be anything from snuggling on the sofa to climbing a hill! Whatever makes your furry friend happy!
