With over 20 years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities, I bring a deep love and understanding to every pet I look after. From playful zoomies to peaceful senior strolls, I’m here to make your dog feel safe, happy, and right at home. I’ve personally raised and cared for three dogs of different breeds, and I’m confident handling all kinds of temperaments and energy levels. I’m happy to help with bathing, walks, playtime, and even basic training — including sit, recall, leash manners, and potty training. I’m especially mindful of age-specific needs, whether it’s soothing anxiety, supporting mobility issues, or simply knowing when a pup needs a little extra patience or comfort. Whatever your dog requires — special instructions, medications, or routines — I’ll follow it closely to ensure they feel loved and well cared for. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority, and I’d be honored to care for them like one of my own

Shania was wonderful with Topaz! My friends and I were visiting Penticton and area to do sightseeing snd hiking, etc, so we needed a dog sitter for one of the days. Shania agreed no problem and Topaz seemed to have had a great time. I would book with her again anytime.
Shania was great. Finn did not miss us at all. She responded quickly to my messages. Kept us up to date on how Finn was doing and sent pics. Would book her again.
Everything went well with Shania. Good communication in the lead up to going away, and kitties were well taken care of.
Shania was very accommodating for the half day I needed someone to watch my boy!
Went above and beyond when taking care of Sadie!

Pet care is a natural and rewarding part of my daily life. I build my schedule around the pets I’m caring for to ensure they get consistent attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. Whether I’m doing drop-in visits, walks, or full-time pet sitting, I make sure each pet has a set routine they can rely on — from morning potty breaks and mealtime to evening walks and wind-down time.

Here are just a few things your pet can look forward to: 🐾 Walks and Outdoor Adventures – Whether it’s a leisurely sniff stroll or a more active walk, I tailor outings to your pet’s energy level and needs. 🎾 Playtime Galore – From fetch and tug-of-war to squeaky toys and zoomie sessions, I love keeping play interactive and engaging. 🧠 Enrichment Games – I use puzzle toys, treat hunts, and training games to challenge their minds and keep boredom at bay. 💤 Chill Time – After the fun, we wind down with cuddle time, belly rubs, or just relaxing together in a calm, safe space. 🎓 Basic Training Refreshers – For puppies or pets who enjoy learning, I can reinforce basic commands like sit, stay, or leash manners in a fun and positive way. Every pet is different, so I adjust our activities based on age, energy, and any special needs. My goal is to make sure your furry friend feels happy, loved, and totally at ease while you’re away!
