Hello! I’m a Kiwi currently living in East London, and I’ve brought that outdoorsy New Zealand spirit with me! Growing up, dogs were a central part of my life—I spent years looking after my own family dog and frequently stepped in to care for my neighbours' dogs back home. My experience goes beyond just family pets; I also spent time volunteering at a dog shelter in Hong Kong. This role involved walking and socialising dogs of all temperaments and sizes. It taught me how to handle nervous pups with patience and manage high-energy dogs with confidence, so you can rest assured your dog is in very capable hands.

Shania is a trustworthy, caring responsible lover of animals. She is someone I have trusted with my own pets. She is thoughtful and attentive, active and motivated. She is the first person I would call to help walk and care for my dog.
Shania loves animals and she nursed an injured cat to good health by adopting the cat and earned a name as a cat whisperer! Shania has grown up with animals in her home and highly recommend her as a very responsible, caring and loving pet caregiver.
Shania took amazing care of my Irish red setter Jim. Jim can be nervous of new people at times but Shania made him at ease straight away. She was great at taking him for walks and well able to cope with his boisterous nature, she even helped with making sure he kept regular eating patterns of his dog feed. I would highly recommend Shania for walking and dog sitting services.
I had the pleasure of working alongside Shania at Hong Kong Dog Rescue, and I can say with complete confidence that she is one of the most dedicated and compassionate dog carers I have ever met. Shania underwent thorough training with us in dog handling and walking, and she took every aspect of it seriously. She had a particular gift for working with nervous and anxious dogs, remaining calm, patient, and reassuring in situations that many volunteers would find challenging. She always paid close attention to each dog's individual needs and behaviour, never rushing and always putting the animal's comfort first. Any dog owner would be incredibly lucky to have Shania looking after their pet. I recommend her without any reservation whatsoever.
Shania looked after my dog and I couldn't have asked for a better caregiver. She was incredibly attentive, keeping me updated throughout the day with photos and messages. It was clear she genuinely loves animals, and my dog absolutely adored her. I'll be booking with Shania again without hesitation — highly recommend!
Shania grew up in a pet friendly home with a fox terrier named Zac and a ginger cat who decided to adopt us. Her love and care for dogs lead her to volunteer her time at a dog care center whilst studying in Hong Kong. I can highly recommend Shania for your consideration. She is trustworthy and competent. I live in a quiet, safe flat in East London, just a stone's throw from London Fields. My home is a calm and peaceful environment, perfect for dogs who might get overwhelmed by busy city streets. It’s a secure space where your pup can truly relax and feel at ease.
A typical day
Whether it’s a quick weekday check-in or a full weekend stay, my goal is to keep your dog’s routine as close to their normal home life as possible. My philosophy is that every dog is an individual. If your pup prefers a slow, gentle long walk, or needs a quiet space to just nap next to a human, I completely customise the day to match their unique personality and energy levels.
