I started pet sitting while I was an undergraduate student. However, now I work a full-time job and I pet sit on the side for a little extra money. Because of this I am better to book for weekends especially if you have a pet that needs frequent potty breaks and scheduled medicines.

I currently do not provide boarding, but when caring for your pet in your home I make sure to keep any area I’m in neat and clean the way I found it. I will be respectful of your rules and belongings. If weather permits I tend to spend a lot of outdoor time with pets to play, enjoy fresh air, and prevent as much opportunity for anything to go wrong in the home. If I stay in your home overnight I respect boundaries and bring my own soap, towels, and food.

Ein typischer Tag
I try to encourage activeness in dogs and get as much fresh air and outdoor time possible. I’ll walk and play in parks with younger energetic dogs, I personally love tug of war, fetch, or simple jogging. For older, calmer dogs we would walk to parks and relax in shaded grass or for car rides if they are okay with the owner and the dog enjoys them.

I grew up around German Shepherds. My grandfather was a trainer. Through books and experience I have one of the best understandings of dogs and my love for them goes beyond measure.

Shania did such a great job watching our pets! The communication was fantastic throughout and she even sent daily picture updates. Would definitely recommend her to anyone!
Shania was great! She took wonderful care of my home, and most importantly took wonderful care of my pup! She was very attentive and made a point to know everything about my Archie, then provided regular updates. This made it possible for me to actually feel comfortable while away! I would absolutely love to have her watch my Archie any time!
Shania house sat and took care of our two dogs Daisy and Diego while we went on a weeklong vacation overseas. She sent regular updates and was responsive to texts, which we greatly appreciated! We would use her again in a heartbeat.
Shania took great care of our dogs and our home. She was very communicative and responsive and followed all of the guidance we left for the dogs. We appreciated her visiting the house and meeting the dogs before we left, and all of the messages and photos she shared with us while we were away. We highly recommend Shania to care for your dog(s)!
