I’ve had pets in my household for as long as I can remember, they’ve always been part of my life. Right now I share my home with a cat I adore. Animals have my whole heart, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I treat every pet like family my own included because to me, they’re not just animals, they’re my kids. If you trust me with your pet, I promise they’ll get the same unconditional love I give my own.

Shanelle took care of our dog better than anyone else! She is very caring, calm and patient and is so good with animals. Our dog's coat requires extra care (Shih Tzu) and she always came back looking great. I would highly recommend her to care for anyone's dog.

Schedule
I work a hybrid schedule, typically in the office just 1-2 days a week. That means I’m home most days and able to give your pet plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day, not just quick check-ins before and after work

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is second nature to me, I’ve had pets since childhood and know exactly what foods and everyday items are dangerous for dogs and cats. I’m also no stranger to handling the unexpected. I’ve faced situations where something happened to one of my own pets, and I’ve had to think fast and act quickly to keep them safe. Whatever comes up, you can count on me to stay calm, resourceful, and ready to jump into action.

A typical day
Here's a response for your Rover profile: I love keeping pets active and engaged! I typically take long walks, I usually walk 4 miles daily, so I'm always up for a good walk to help burn energy and explore. Playtime is a big priority for me too; I think it's important for pets to stay engaged, not just looked after. And when it's time to wind down, I'm all about snuggles, my home is very pet-friendly, and pets are welcome up on the furniture to relax and get comfortable.

- Before watching your pet, it's helpful for me to know their daily routine (feeding times, walk schedule, and any commands they respond to), any disabilities, allergies, or things they shouldn't eat, and any medications they're currently taking. I also like to know their general temperament especially around new people, other animals, or specific triggers plus emergency contact info and your vet's details just in case, so I can act quickly if anything comes up.
