Shanelle dog sat for me last year. Gracie was a older girl which meant she needed some extra care. Shanelle took the time to understand all her needs and wants. I had a hard time trusting just anyone so I specifically reached out to Shanelle. Shanelle adapted to Gracie's needs based on the day. Shanelle also stayed at my house and left it clean and we'll cared for as well. She sent me pictures of Gracie and I could see Gracie felt comfortable like she was with a long time family member. Shanelle is respectful, trustworthy, loving, and understands how to adapt to a dog's energy and needs. Shanelle is absolutely great to talk to and be around. Our fur babies feel that too. I would choose Shanelle 100% of the time when a dog sitter would be needed.

Shanelle has watched our dog several times and taken great care of her. She was very loving and patient with Kaya who recently passed away of old age. She was a 120 pound cane corso with all kinds of health issues so she was not an easy dog to take care of. She was on different medications, she didn’t like to get up to use the bathroom, she was heavy so she couldn’t just be picked up. We would only trust Shanelle to take care of her when we travelled because we knew that our dog was in great hands. Shanelle was willing to clean her ears when they had infections. She was patient about getting her up and out to use the bathroom. She would send updates and photos while we were away. Shanelle has a heart of gold and she volunteers at an animal sanctuary because she truly loves and cares for animals. On top of the great care she took of our precious fur baby, she took great care of our house when she stayed there. It was always clean and organized when we came home. I highly recommend Shanelle as a pet & house sitter.

Shanelle has been a close friend of mine for several years now. My cat, Loki, is a tough customer to win over, but she managed to do it. She has cat sit for me a few times now with great success. My cat has to take daily medication mixed with his food and is often reluctant to finish his “snack.” However, Shanelle was able to get him to eat it, which says a lot to me about her ability to gain trust from animals. I’ve also heard her talk about her past dogs and others she has pet sit for with great affection. I believe Shanelle is a perfect candidate for pet sitting with Rover and would be an asset to the company and her clients.

I can’t say enough good things about the care and love Shanelle gave our dogs. We went off island for 10 days leaving behind a 8 month old Tibetan Terrier puppy and a senior large breed hound dog. Both breeds are notoriously difficult, stubborn and the puppy was still in the learning curve. Shanelle kept us updated on a daily basis with text and pictures on how they were doing, putting us at ease while we were gone. On the plus side the house was immaculate when we returned. It was very well taken care of and clean. It was like we never left! Shanelle is a GEM!

Shanelle is phenomenal with pets! She has watched our cat Yoshi several times form the time he was a kitten to now being a full grown adult cat. Our cat Yoshi loves her, and comes up to her every time she comes over!
