I have had a dog since I remember. I worked in college as a dog sitter for a company called Smitten Pet Sitten. I worked with numerous breeds and would always let the homeowners how there furry friend(s) were doing. I took care of dogs, cats, horses, and fish. I also brought in the mail and watered plants. Animals are stressed when going to new environments, like someone else's home or boarding at a vet. So let me come to you. Animals will be less anxious when left in their own home with a similar routine. Some animals won't eat with their owners gone, however I am gentle and patient and don't mind sitting with them feeding them by hand. I not only have experience with dogs, i have experience caring for cats, hedgehogs, fish, etc.

I cannot say enough good things about Shanelle. My husband I were recently out of the country for 11 days and had very patching cell service, so even though Shanelle always texts me daily when taking care of my cat, Boo, most of her messages did not come through daily. I knew though, because of all of the love she has always given to Boo, that I had nothing to worry about. I knew Boo was in good hands and that Shanelle would give her all of the love she always does when she watches over her. Thank you for everything Shanelle.
Shanelle is the best cat sitter ever. My cat, Boo, is so picky when it comes to even coming out of the closest for other people, but she warmed up to Shanelle very quickly and now Boo considers Shanelle family and loves having her come over for all the love, belly rubs, and attention see gives her. We could not be happier with Shanelle. I mean it when I say she is the best!
Shanelle went above and beyond to ensure our cats were well-fed and happy for the week were out of town. She kept in regular contact with us on the app with daily updates and pictures. She was also right on time with the initial visit. I would not hesitate to hire Shanelle again.
We’ve used Shanelle several times and she’s been so great and flexible with us and our dogs and cats. She has gone above and beyond dealing with things like a cat who won’t come out of hiding, dogs who needed extra visits, multiple accidents on our rug, and a garage door that wouldn’t work. Are they aggressive or shy around new people. I need to know if they have certain allergies or any other medical issues. Do I need to administer medications, and how often.

If you have a particular walk or trail, feel free to tell me, that way I can keep a routine down for your furry friend. If not I will walk around your neighborhood, a local dog park or walking trail. I can run with your dog, play fetch, etc.
