Accepting new clients! All fur babies must be current on rabies/flea/tick preventative. Low to moderate energy dogs that are potty and house trained are welcome. Seniors are also welcome (my home has a handicap ramp!). No aggressive dogs please.

Hello! I'm Shanel. Animals have always been a passion of mine, especially dogs. So, I decided it was time to take my passion to the next level. Now I care for fur babies in my home and it’s the best “job” I’ve ever had! Im home all day and I love hanging out with a pack of dogs and spoiling them. I’m looking forward to giving your baby as much love as they can handle! Friends and family have dubbed me 'the dog whisperer'. I have over 30 years experience with animals and even some veterinary technician training. I have a lifetime of experience with dogs and cats. I offer short or long term boarding and day care for dogs of all breeds. Whether it’s a weekend or a few months, your fur baby will have all the cuddles and comforts of home here. I love to give lots of pets and hands-on playtime. They will have plenty of attention, indoor and fenced outdoor play space, plenty of toys, and many comfy places to lounge and nap. Potty breaks will be as often as they need or want. I have had animals all my life and enjoy giving them all the love they can handle so I’m looking forward to your baby joining us for some cuddles and much needed play and social time. I have plenty of experience socializing dogs and I always practice safe introductions to insure a smooth transition. I have large indoor playpens that I use for separation only during introductory periods and meal time so as to keep everyone safe and comfortable. Otherwise, the pens are only used for separation if a furbaby becomes aggressive towards others. I have a free-roam environment and do not crate, but can have a crate available for your baby if you request. Please no aggressive pups as the safety of all our fur babies is paramount.

I am home all day and night, leaving only for short errands or visiting family. I always plan around my dogs, so they are never left unattended for long periods. I really just love being home with the pups to give tons of affection and to provide a safe and fun environment for them. We do not take daily walks, however, they have plenty of space to run and play, indoor and outdoor. We play fetch and have playtime often with stuffies, balls, chews, interactive toys, puzzles, and more. Hands on loving with tons of pets, neck scratchies, and brushings. Treats throughout the day such as crunchy bones, low calorie training treats, and veggies. I also make a tasty dog-safe homemade food for my pup, made with chicken, brown rice, pumpkin, and veggies. The pups really love this treat so with your permission, he/she can have some mixed in at mealtime with their kibble during their stay. I do love to spoil them!

A typical day
I’m looking forward to keeping your furbaby happy and comfortable in my home. I have fun toys and puzzles. We can play games such as finding treats in hiding places or snuffle mats. We can watch the ducks swim around the pond and play outside. Also, we can’t forget all the cuddles I love to give!
