Loving Care in Prescott Home

We provide 24-hour supervision in a peaceful, centrally located Prescott home near Costco. Providing exercise, sunshine, rest and a loving home are the keys to a dog's happiness. As you can see from the 100 images posted in my profile, your pooch will be well taken care of. My customers tend to prefer the loving home environment of Rover rather than high-energy commercial settings. Our house is a perfect place for dogs who thrive in a quiet, stress free environment. My goal is to only accept happy dogs who enjoy being around people and other dogs.

Well, Mingus, my dog, cannot talk, of course. But she seems OK. Especially considering that she is wearing a cone and has a large bandage over her hip, because of a spider bite on her hip about 10 days ago. I had to leave her with Shane for 48 hours ( a little longer than planned) due to a business trip. Shane was accommodating. He texted me a couple of time to let me know how she was doing, I appreciated that, because I was a little worried. His house is spacious and clean. He has several water bowls for dogs to drink whenever then need. His yard is not huge, but with her bandage she was not going to run around anyways. He was boarding a couple of other dogs at the same time as mine. I will likely call Shane next time I need to go out of town without my dog.

Shane was amazing! Fenny had a great time and was very well taken care of while we were on a trip. She can be a handfull at times and Shane handled her very well, took her on walks and gave her all the attention she wanted.

Jimmy had the most fun! Shane was great! I had some flight trouble and he was so adaptable and helpful through that process. I would definitely recommend Shane to watch my pet any day!

I am so happy to have met Shane, and asked him to watch Tara. He has the patience of Job, a kind and caring person.

Shane took excellent care of our two dogs and we’d absolutely book our dogs with him again.

I am so glad I found Shane! I had never left Sadie with a stranger before and knew I wouldn’t be comfortable boarding her in a more institutional setting. Shane offers the dogs in his care a loving, home setting. They pretty much have run of his house (at least his living room and kitchen)! He has large, comfortable beds for them on the floor and a fenced backyard with both sun and shade. He sent me photos of the hikes he took with Sadie in the early evening (when it had cooled down), and of Sadie snuggling with him on the couch. I found Shane to be a good communicator, prompt and clear. He is a dog lover, which is what you want when leaving your dog with someone!

Schedule

Keeping your dog safe is our number one priority. They will be kept on a leash at all times during walks. We have very thick orthopedic floor beds in various sizes that are more comfortable than the bed I sleep in! Since the loss of our two dogs, we no longer have our own pets in the house. We also don't have children, cats or tenants...I live with my long-time friend & roommate Elsie and the Rover dogs.

Safety, trust & environment

I've always had a passion for dogs, so working with them is a true blessing. If I'm absent, Elsie works from home and will take care of their needs. The only items needed is leash, food & treats. We do not pass out human food for safety reasons.

A typical day

Our service includes exercise, access to the yard, medicine delivery and feedings. Exercise is custom tailored for each dog depending on age & activity preference. A long walk is a great way to bond with your dog, and I enjoy the fresh air as much as they do. Sun naps, walks at the lake, or cuddling on the couch watching movies are popular activities. Dogs can make themselves at home. Whatever they can do at your home they can do here.
