I’ve cared for puppies and whelped litters. I work from home, so I’m always here to provide attention or care. I have a safe fully fenced backyard with grass. My home has no young children, my kids are teenagers, we do also have a cat. I take my golden retriever, Copper, on multiple walks daily, and happy to bring a friend or two along for those as well (weather permitting).

This was my first time using Rover and fumbled a little on what I needed. Shane helped me and even took Riley, my Golden Retriever, in a night early when we got to town earlier than expected. Shane and his family took great care of my high energy guy and sent pictures of him enjoying the grass in their yard and sending notes about him. I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the house, Shane and Riley were at the door to greet me. I will definitely contact Shane again next year when I come back for the quilt show. Thank you again Shane and family!!
Shane was great at communicating and our Goldendoodle seemed happy when we picked her up!
My dog was very happy and Shane was very accommodating. I wouldn't want to leave her with anybody else. If you're looking for somebody who will treat your dog like a famiky member, Shane is the sitter you want. 10/10 would recommend
My dog had stayed here before and was so excited to be back! I think that alone says a lot about how well Shane treats the pets in his care.
Shane did a great job taking care of our high energy dog for the weekend. He sent us regular updates with pictures which kept our minds at ease. Our dog can be a handful so it was great leaving him with someone who can handle him.
Shane was so awesome! One of our dogs is usually anxious away from home, but seemed so content staying with Shane. He sent great pictures and communicated well. We will be booking again!

Schedule
I work from home full-time, so I’m always home to give the dogs attention or care. My work is flexible enough that I can let the dogs outside as needed and have the ability for walks or the occasional trip to the park.

I have a fully fenced backyard. I have one dog of my own, Copper, who is a golden retriever. I do not have young children, my kids are teenagers. I also do not have any other pets other than the one dog. The street in front of my house is not a busy street.

A typical day
Let me know what activities would be best suited for your dog during its time with me. All dogs will be able to socialize and play with my golden retriever, Copper. We have space to play fetch at my house and at the park that is within walking distance in my neighborhood. Bike rides are also possible if your dog is familiar with running alongside a bike. I hike frequently on the weekends and take dogs with me that enjoy hikes.
