Not your average cat lady
I come from a cat-friendly upbringing and have cat sat for both friends and family. I always make sure litter boxes are clean, food is replenished and toys are abundant. I have an asthmatic cat who I give daily inhaler medicine to so I’m no stranger to administering medications if needed.

I feed my cat twice a day and scoop and/or refresh his litter once a day. We have consistent play time as well that he enjoys.

Shane was the absolute best cat and house sitter I could have asked for! This was my first time leaving my cat Noel for a long period of time and I was so nervous about it. I mentioned that I love getting photos of Noel and Shane made sure to send photos and updates every day. She also asked great questions about Noel and my home ahead of the sitting and paid attention to every last detail in my slightly-over-the-top Noel guide. I think it’s very possible Noel got more playtime and attention while Shane was there than she gets with me! There’s nothing better than having peace of mind that your pet is being truly cared for while you’re away from them - I’d 100% have Shane watch Noel again.
For as long as I’ve known Shane, she’s always been good with animals. She especially has a strong affinity for cats. Shane makes sure her own cat (and other cats) are well attended and have their needs taken care of, first and foremost. In turn, the cats respond favorably to her gentle disposition.
Shane has had cats in her life since she was a small child and grew up very attached to them. She is very loving and protective with her own cat Charley and makes sure that he is always safe, healthy and happy. She is also very thorough in his care and makes sure that he has the medicine he needs for his asthma and is also very attentive to his grooming. She has been a cat sitter before for friends and enjoyed it immensely. Any cat in Shane’s care will certainly be in excellent hands.

Schedule
I’m currently a full-time freelance graphic designer so my time is entirely flexible. I’m also available for housesitting any day of the week and any time.
- CatsShane can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- Being attentive to all cats, I’m even more alert with pets that need certain medications administered or have specific dietary needs. I also pay close attention to specific feeding times because I know how important meal times are to our feline friends.
