I have been told countless times that animals seem to bond quickly with me and that I should have been a vet. I’ve had the absolute pleasure of taking care of many animal species over the years so far, including: cats, dogs, goats, deer, gazelle, horses, sheep, llamas, zebras, ostriches, lions, and giraffes. (Not tigers or bears, or I could say “oh my” like the silly phrase). Part of my bonding with animals has always been based off simply playing with them, making them understand they are safe around me, and learning what they like so I can engage them in ways they will find interesting. I am happy to yap your ears off over my experiences as a zookeeper, an animal enthusiast, a veterinary assistant, or just as someone who likes to lay in the grass and watch birds and other fauna go about their lives. I apologize in advance for getting very serious a moment here. I will need to meet your animal prior to service to analyze their personality and interaction with me (and if for a drop off / boarding at my home, will also need to judge their interaction with my animal). The safety of your animal and of my own animal are of paramount importance to me. My many years with animals has taught me that an animal's personality can make or break the comfort and safety of any situation. Thanks for your understanding. Now back to the fun part!
