In your home, I will make sure your dog is well cared for fed and out for potty breaks all with your clear instructions followed. I am a neat person and will not leave your house a mess. I will not have guests over either.

How many times a day does your dog get fed or do you leave dry food out? I’ll assume your dog needs to be separated when eating unless you say otherwise, even from any of your other dogs. Does you dog have any sleep preferences, such as burrowing or being covered? Does your dog take any medications? Is your dog aggressive around dogs of a particular size?

Everything is dependent on the rules you set for your dog, but I will play fetch with them, take them on long walks if necessary. I will of course give them constant attention that they are used to and adhere to any physical restrictions they may have. I will make sure they are tired out for the day and have a relaxing calm evening. I will have them play with toys you approve of and the tricks they are used to doing for you.

I love to engage with dogs! I moved from the Bay area of California January 2024. I had a full time dog boarding and daycare business from my home. I have 10 years of experience with all kinds of breeds and sizes. I love to be around dogs because they give us so much love in return. I can give you references upon request. I cannot currently watch dogs from my apartment but I would love to come to your home and care for your dogs in the environment they know best! Let's have a conversation and see what services I can do for your and your fur baby (babies)!

Shando did excellent staying with our dogs Stella & Lilly! He sent us several pictures and updates over the 16 hours which put us at ease. We had concerns as we were on vacation, renting an Air B&B and the dogs have never been left with a "stranger" before. Shando eased all the concerns and the dogs enjoyed their time with him! I highly recommend Shando for your dog sitting needs!
Shando was amazing! I had a last-minute cancellation and needed to find a dog sitter for the night of my wedding. Shando was responsive and has an impressive background and experience with animals. He came by for a visit, and our dogs, who normally only bark at strangers, went up to him, sniffed him, and were friendly. He has a great way with animals. He was able to spend the night and sent some pictures to put us at ease. We were able to enjoy our wedding night thanks to Shando fully. Would highly recommend him!
Shando was exactly what we were looking for! He was kind, compassionate and experienced with pets. Our golden loved him! Our first Rover adventure for a night away and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything worked out. Shando was flexible. He showed up early to not be rushed and stayed late working around our schedule. I can’t wait to plan another trip or date night so I can get on Shando schedule! Shando was fantastic! He was so kind to both us and Rocky. We felt so comfortable having him in our home caring for Rocky. He shared photos and was very responsive. We will definitely use Shando’s dog sitting services again every time we leave town.
