I proudly serve the Prince George area and am dedicated to providing a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for your pet. With years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, I understand how important individualized attention and consistent routines are. Every dog has their own personality and needs, and I take the time to ensure they feel secure, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I am passionate about what I do and committed to giving your pet the love, attention, and exercise they deserve—whether it’s a short visit, a walk, or an extended stay in my home. To maintain a peaceful and low-stress environment, I only take one or two dogs at a time. This allows me to provide focused, one-on-one care and a more relaxed experience for your pet. I also welcome puppies, including those who are not yet spayed or neutered. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities.

We had a wonderful experience with Shanda ! She took the time to meet our puppy beforehand to make sure it was a good fit and immediately made us feel comfortable. She walked our dog, worked on training and crate training, and provided lots of updates, photos, and videos while we were away. She is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs, very welcoming, and clearly cares about the animals she works with. We highly recommend shanda and would happily use her services again! Tara

Jasper had a wonderful time at Shanda’s! For a pup who can be anxious and nervous he sure felt right at home! Shanda sent photos and updates throughout his visit, Jasper will be staying with Shanda again next month and I’m sure he will be very happy to get back to a nice big yard with friends to play with all day!:)
My dogs had a great time with Shanda! They can be a little anxious but she said they settled in great. I love her set up, the dogs have plenty of outside time in the fenced yard. She sent my the cutest update pictures of them too! Will definitely book with Shanda again.
Great place to leave your dog. Shanda was great! I felt very confident leaving Molly with her. She has a great yard for dogs!
Shanda was amazing with our senior girl! She provided lots of updates and pictures while we were away, and we felt really at ease knowing Lana was so well cared for. Would definitely recommend Shanda and would book with her again!

I’m home during the day and evenings, so I have lots of flexibility to work around your schedule. I’m also happy to offer pick-up and drop-off in Prince George and nearby areas for added convenience.

During their stay, your dog will enjoy plenty of physical and mental stimulation tailored to their energy level. This can include walks, runs, and nature or trail outings, as well as playtime in the yard with games like fetch. They’ll also enjoy social time with our family, including our friendly house dog, Houston—a 7 year-old Boston Terrier—along with my husband and myself. We provide a balanced environment of activity, companionship, and relaxation to help your dog feel right at home.
