Caring for your pet in your home is a big responsibility and I take it seriously, but it is also where your pet is most secure and comfortable. It is where their bed and their toys are and where they expect you to return. Keeping them safe and happy is my biggest priority.

Please let me know any behaviors that your dog or cat has that I will need to prepare for. Are they guarding the property? Do they howl at fire trucks? Have they ever bolted out the door? Are delivery people a nuisance to them or do they think that the package is for them? Just as important as what and when to eat, is the behavior aspect of the pet sitting.

Depending on the pet's needs, we can play, take long walks, snuggle on the couch (if allowed), it is really up to the lifestyle that your pet leads.

I have taken care of friends and neighbors dogs starting 20 years ago. We had dogs as I was growing up. I can provide play and enrichment for the energetic ones and laptime for the low-key ones. If they need meds or a special diet, I can make sure they stay on schedule and on plan. They will be safe and cared for while you are away.

We used Shana for the first time this weekend and loved her! Roxy had the best time getting all the love and playtime with Shana. Defiantly will use her again!
Shannon has many years of experience, caring for cats both in her home and at a shelter. She has cared for all ages from newborn kittens and mothers up through senior cats. She is able to administer medication’s and is very reliable and cares for each cat, as if it were her own.
I have volunteered with Shana at a local cats rescue for several years. She has been a very important part of many aspects of the rescue organization, including the "meds" team, has fostered several cats/kittens, and she has been a big part of the Trap Neuter Release Program. She has handled sweet loving animals, but also the very scared and difficult animals. I would trust her with my cats and rabbits in a heartbeat. She's a very compassionate and trustworthy person.
