I co-own a restaurant, and don’t have to be on-site. So as of now, my schedule is wide open and flexible. When I hire a dog-sitter, my #1 priority is knowing that they will actually BE HERE. I will happily be there for your pet(s), as much as you would like.

I love to walk, run, swim, and play ball with all dogs! I’m also happy to cuddle up with them on the couch or bed, scratching their belly to their heart’s content. :)

Most importantly, I would like to know what I can do to keep your pet happy! Basic info I would like to know about: behavior issues (food/dog aggression, separation anxiety, etc.), favorite activities, any physical limitations, and other info that would help me to provide the best care for your fur baby. :)

I have been a German Shepherd “mom”, ever since my family brought home Lady, my 1st GSD, when I was in kindergarten. Since then, it is the only breed I have ever had (minus a few strays I’ve taken in over the years). I lost my heart in 2016, when my 1st baby, Dakota, got cancer. I was devastated. In January of this year, I lost her 14yo brother, Kruz-also to cancer. I am also a breast cancer survivor. I have 1 baby, Sophie, left. As much as I want to adopt another one, I’m not sure my heart is ready. So, what better way to fill the void, than to play with & dog-sit other people’s fur babies?! :) I recently fostered a GSD puppy for 2 months. I know how to work with large & small breeds alike. I love dogs more than anything, and I will ensure that yours has all the affection/attention its heart desires! I am well-versed in voice and hand commands, as well; so rest assured, I will follow whatever your routine is for your fur baby. :)

Shana is flexible, communicative, and great with our 2 dogs (And 4 cats when occasionally housesitting). We primarily do drop ins and have never had an issue. I would highly recommend Shana as a petsitter.
