I will treat your pet like family
I have had pets in my home for my entire life. I have volunteered in animal shelters since 2019 and currently do regular shifts at a local shelter, where I walk dogs (I am trained to the most advanced level, meaning I can interact with and walk dogs who are still working on their social skills and interactions), take dogs and cats on local news shows to encourage adoption, foster dogs in my own home, and take part in educational opportunities to continually advance my animal care and advocacy abilities.

Wow-I cannot say enough amazing things about Shana. She is attentive, loving, respectful, and one of the best dog watchers I have ever had. She was so good to my Winnie when I had aniexty about leaving her and she ALWAYS checked in. I’m so impressed with her and am planning on using her for the future!!
Shana was amazing! I have a challenging dog and she warmed up to Shana so fast because she has such a good energy and awareness with dogs. She sent pictures and kept me updated. This was the first time I ever used Rover and I was so nervous but I knew my dog was in good hands with her. I would definitely use Shana again.

We’ve never left our pup this long with anyone in our five years of having her! Our dog can be temperamental and reactive in new situations due to fear. Shana was incredibly patient and kind and took the time to understand Nola and they had a great week together. She always kept me updated and even went on some adventures with Nola! She was such a happy pup on pick up and didn’t want to leave. I hope we have another trip so our sweet Nola can go to her “vacation home” with Shana. We are so incredibly grateful for her loving and patient care.
Shana did an absolutely amazing job with our extremely nervous and scared pup who does not trust many people. Shana was extremely patient and truly understood Nola’s personality and what she needed in order for her to become comfortable. Nola did not want to leave a the end which we’ve never seen before! Shana is a true professional and we will be booking again! So thankful for her care for our fur baby.
I can’t recommend Shana highly enough as a pet caregiver. She has watched two of my dogs on multiple occasions, and each time she's been so caring, reliable, and attentive. My dogs love her, and I always feel confident they are in the best hands while I am away. What sets Shana apart is her genuine love for animals. Beyond caring for pets like mine, she also volunteers with the best friends, hawk watch and has volunteered with the humane society and fostered dogs. To me, this shows her commitment and compassion run far deeper than just a job. If you’re looking for someone you can trust to treat your pets like family, Shana is exactly that person.

Harmonogram
My full-time job is remote and has a flexible schedule, so I can hang out with pets for much of the day and take breaks for outside time, playtime, appointments, and so on. I also teach a handful of yoga classes every week, usually in the late mornings, but the times vary from week to week.

I am happy to give your pet what they need, whether that's scritichies, playtime, walks, gentle time sitting around, medicine, and so on. Whatever it is, I will be patient with them and their needs.
