Pet care experience

Dog owner turned dog walker

I grew up with a Chihuahua and have always seen dogs as part of the family. I used to help my neighbors walk their dog before they moved away, and I’ve loved spending time with dogs of all kinds ever since. Because I enjoy traveling, I don’t have a dog of my own right now, but I’d love to help others take care of theirs in my spare time.

Shan took such good care of my cat! It was such a comfort knowing she was there for him. Really appreciated the many photos and videos of him playing and relaxing, such a relief to let him stay home where he is comfortable. Will have peace of mind booking Shan for his care the next time I go on a trip.

Shan took great care of my dog while I was away! She was super friendly and communicative and I could tell that my dog had a blast at her place. Can’t recommend her enough!

Doggy Day Care • Jan 23, 2026

We became a regular with Shan fairly quickly as she's very caring and attentive with our Badger and all the other dogs she's hosting. Badger always came back having a fun time with her.

Doggy Day Care • Jan 21, 2026

We are becoming her regular since she's caring and attentive with Badger and he's enjoying is time with her very much. Shan also shares number of pictures and videos during Badger's stay making us feel even more comfortable. Sometimes it is also nice not to have other pets in a dog sitter's house because for a border collie mix of ours can get overstimulated when there are other dogs to play with.

Shan is so wonderful to help us with our dog through the week. She came at our meet and greet and not only did we take to her, so did our dog.
