I have been in love with cats since I was a little girl. We had a little tabby cat growing up that I raised since I was 7 years old. Now living seperate, I have 2 friendly tabby cats of my own who I've raised since they were kittens. They are extremely friendly and are here to make your fur baby feel comfortable and welcomed! I have been a cat sitter on Rover since 2023, exclusively providing boarding services to cats. I have watched cats, young and old, of various breeds and personalities. I'm always a message away if you have any specific questions related to my care and what I can provide.

Shamsa took amazing care of my cat, Ethel, while I was away on vacation for a week. She sent daily photos and videos to update me about how she was doing. Ethel also made friends with her two other sweet cats, and I enjoyed watching her interact with them, knowing she was happy and comfortable while I was away. I never felt worried for Ethel at any moment while I was gone, and I will definitely use her services in the future if I ever need to!
This was our second time having Shamsa care for our two male cats, and we are so grateful for her help. She is a very reliable and attentive sitter. She was extremely friendly and patient with our cats during the hand-off, and her care throughout the stay was excellent. I will definitely use her services again.
Shamsa was so great! She communicated with us daily and provided lots of photos and videos! She was very flexible in allowing Samoa to get comfortable in her home and around her cats! We appreciated her and will be rebooking with her in the future!
We are so grateful to have found Shamsa. She took great care of our sweet cat Nina. When we picked Nina up, it was clear that she was very comfortable, and Nina gave a friendly goodbye. Shamsa had two lovely cats of her own. She provided Nina with her own private room, but also gave the cats the opportunity to socialize when they expressed interest in doing so. We were delighted to see the videos of all three cats hanging out together, and Nina seems to have learned new social skills. Thank you Shamsa!

Schedule
My husband and I both work from home and spend a majority of our time in our home, so your fur baby will not be left alone. I have 2 cats of my own who I take care of as if they were my children, so cat care is a big part of my daily routine. I dedicate a big portion of my time ensuring cats are well taken care of, fed, played with, and loved. If you have any special requests/routine for your cats, I am willing to take the time to learn and understand so that they may have the most comfortable visit and that you can have a stress free time away knowing they are well taken care of.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a 2 bedroom apartment upstairs, with a spacious living room and kitchen. Your fur baby is free to roam as it wishes. If your cat needs its own room away from my own cats, the guest bedroom is a dedicated suite for your fur baby. I understand cats take time to adjust to new environments, so even if your cat is friendly with other cats, it will still have its own room to start before being gradually introduced to my own cats. The guestroom has a bed, cat beds, cat toys, cat tree, and scratchers. I only take one client at a time, so you do not have to worry about other outside pets being in the home at the same time as your cat's stay. I take hygiene, cleanliness, and safety very seriously, and it is my top priority as a cat owner to ensure my pets as well as yours are in a safe and clean space. My home is well kept and cleaned daily to ensure cats are in a comfortable and uncluttered environment.

A typical day
A typical day with a cat under my care starts with feeding them, ensuring food and water bowls are cleaned in between. Although many cats may seem lazy, they love to play! I have lots of toys that will keep keep your cat's curious and active, and most of all happy! A good portion of my day is spent playing with and petting your fur baby. Their litter box is scooped daily, and refilled as needed.
