It’s important for me to know a few key things about your pet ahead of time to ensure they’re safe, happy, and comfortable. I’d love to know their daily routine, energy level, and any quirks or behaviors I should be aware of. It’s also helpful to know how they do around other animals and people, any medical conditions or medications, dietary needs, and what treats or toys they love (or dislike!). If they have any fears or triggers, like loud noises or vacuum cleaners, that’s great to know too. The more I understand your pet’s personality and needs, the better I can care for them like they’re my own!
A typical day
When I watch pets, I make sure they have a fun and enriching experience. We’ll enjoy plenty of playtime, whether it’s a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or chasing a laser pointer. I love going on walks and mini adventures, giving pets a chance to explore new sights and smells. There’s always time for cuddle sessions too—belly rubs, ear scratches, and cozy snuggles are a must. I also like to include some light training with positive reinforcement to keep their minds engaged. Treat puzzles and interactive toys help add extra fun to their day, and of course, I never miss a chance for a little photo shoot to capture their adorable moments.

ShaMiya was an absolute blessing. I needed a sitter to watch my 6 month old pup, Skai. She and her family were amazing with communication throughout the whole process as it was my first time using a service like this. We did a meet and greet prior to the date which added to me feeling more comfortable. And Skai took to her and her family right away. I would definitely use ShaMiya again and highly recommend her to my friends and others needing a dog sitter.
ShaMiya was very friendly, professional, and understanding. When dropping off Lola, it was a great experience...she was very patient and prepared to care for Lola. She also was very personable amd responsive which helped make me comfortable leaving Lola in her care. I would definitely recommend her and will be using again!
Shamiya was great with our hyper active dog chocolate! We are very pleased, she was also very understanding and accommodating and kept in good communication with us about chocolate the whole time. We will definitely book again.
This was my first time boarding my dogs, ShaMiya made it very easy and the care she gave was great. I appreciated the pictures and the updates. I plan to use ShaMiya the next time I need to board my dogs.
