Shamita exceeded our expectations as a cat sitter. When we brought Simba over she was kind and asked questions that would help her get to know Simba and tailor her care routine to his needs. She sent us so many pictures and videos as we had requested. We could tell that Simba loved her and was well cared for and comfortable. So much so that my daughter as worried he would not want to come back home with us! 😅 Her communication was A+. Very fast replies. Pick up was easy. Simba was ready to go and all his belongings were packed. We will definitely reach out to Shamita again for her boarding services. ☺️👌
Shamita took very good care of my cat for two weeks. She communicated daily about how my cat was adapting and also sent daily photos/videos. My cat loved staying there so much she didn't want to leave 😄

Shamita is warm, patient, trustworthy, reliable and empathetic towards pets. She took great care of my cat when i have to go out of town for a few days. She handled him with great care and warmth. I would highly recommend her.

Schedule
I’m available for evening visits after 6 pm on weekdays and have more flexibility on weekends and holidays. This makes it easy for me to stop by for feeding, playtime, and check-ins when your cat needs it most. On weekends, I can offer multiple visits per day or stay overnight if you’d like someone at home with your cat. Since I live right in Côte-des-Neiges, I can easily reach nearby homes and keep to your pet’s routine without any trouble.

When I’m caring for cats in their own home, my priority is keeping them safe, comfortable, and calm in their familiar environment. I always make sure doors and windows are secured, food and water bowls are clean and filled, and litter boxes are well maintained. I know that trust is essential when someone enters your home, so I treat your space with the same respect as my own. I’m careful with keys, lock up properly after each visit, and keep your privacy in mind at all times. For cats who are shy or nervous, I move slowly and give them space until they feel comfortable. For playful cats, I engage with toys and interaction to keep them active and happy. In all cases, I adapt my approach to match your cat’s personality and needs. You can expect photo updates and clear communication from me every day, so you’ll always know your cat (and your home) are in good hands.

A typical day
When I visit a cat, I always start by making sure the essentials are taken care of—fresh food, clean water, and a tidy litter box. Once that’s done, I spend time with them according to what they enjoy most. For shy cats, that might mean sitting quietly so they feel safe coming closer on their own. For playful cats, I’ll bring out toys, play chase, or use a wand toy to keep them active and entertained. I also make sure they get some gentle affection if they want it, whether it’s head scratches, brushing, or just sitting nearby for company. Before I leave, I double-check everything is secure and snap a few photos to send you, so you know your cat is happy and cared for.
