About shamayra c.
Safety, trust & environment
I offer in-home sitting and dog walking, caring for pets in their familiar environment. I follow each client’s routine closely—feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific care needs
Information shamayra c. would like to know about your pet
I like to know each pet’s routine, energy level, and personality ahead of time so I can keep things consistent and stress free for them. It’s also really important for me to understand any medical needs, dietary restrictions, or medications. I always ask about behavior like how they are with other dogs, strangers, or being left alone so I can avoid unsafe or uncomfortable situations. I also like to know their favorite activities, triggers, and anything the owner is currently working on like training or habits so I can stay consistent with that. I don’t take aggressive dogs, so I make sure to clearly understand temperament upfront.
A typical day
“I like to keep pets both mentally and physically engaged based on their personality and energy level. For more active dogs, I’ll do longer walks, play fetch, or light training games to keep them stimulated. For calmer or older pets, I focus more on gentle walks, attention, and comfort so they feel safe and relaxed. I also incorporate things like basic commands, or interactive play to keep their minds active. My goal is to make sure they’re not just watched, but actually happy, exercised, and cared for while you’re away.

Reviews
Samayra cared for my 4 dogs in my home overnight for 4days 3 nights in April. My dogs are between 50sbd 60 lbs. One mini aussie three aussie/chow mix. She did such an amazing job keeping my babies happy. She stayed in communication with my family while we were gone and followed our dogs schedule to the letter. She is gentle and caring, with s soft tone and a relaxed energy. We will continue using Mayra to sit for our dogs as long as we can.
She has watched my dogs while I was on vacation and they love her, she loves every dog she meets and is always great with them
If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and truly compassionate with animals, she’s an excellent choice. I would absolutely ask her to watch my dog again without hesitation.
