She is the best. Shamareya was so sweet and my baby summer loved her. I left her for the first time while going on a trip and for some reason I was not worried coz I knew my baby Summer was in good hands.

I believe Shamareya was kind with my pet. Her and her partner delivered my supplies back to me just fine. I believe they need to be more honest and indicate that they have a lot of responsibilities and should REDUCE THEIR PAY TO $15 OR $20 A DAY. I have seen other pet sitters on Rover's site who are very honest about this. One mom was happy to have a dog for her child while she was studying, trying to get some classes under her belt, and only charged $15/hr. She was honest. One instruction was not followed. That was to take the paperwork I provided to the vet. I paid her an additional 50$ to do the pet visit. They also were late to the pet appointment by around 1.5 hours, because of a conflict with a job Shamareya had. This was not a surprise appointment. So, maybe Shamareya's appointment(s) from her other job is not stable? I am not sure. There was no communication before hand that she would be late. Upon pick-up, scheduled between 9 and 9:30 am, was not followed. I had to wait 3.25 hours before they responded. I was in tears wondering if everyone was ok. They indicated their apologies and said they had slept in. All in all, I would rate this sitter a 2, for needing to be more responsible and mature to stick to a schedule and communicate better. I am elderly, have a lot of doctors like many of us, and the stress of wondering the safety of my dog was overwhelming. Plus I do not have a lot of money. I recently had to suffer an unexpected trauma, too. I did not need this. It made my life difficult when I was already experiencing what seemed like a major trial of my life. It is not that I would NOT use this sitter again. This sitter would have to make a reparative statement, here on Rover and find a way to ameliorate these discrepancies, be honest about all of this, and make some needed changes before charging the $35/hr rate. Communication about scheduling is key. Poor communication created many obstacles for me.

Shamareya was extremely communicative and very understanding of my dog’s specific potty training challenges, which I know many others may have been hesitant to take on. Her home is beautiful, spacious, and offers ample indoor and outdoor areas for dogs to enjoy. My dog came home exactly as I dropped him off, which reassured me he was in great hands throughout his stay. Highly recommend Shamareya!!

Shamareya was very communicative and attentive to our dogs. They slept great after the first visit and were excited to see her on the 2nd visit.
