Pet care experience
Caring family environment
Active and attentive family available to provide multiple levels of care for your fur baby! Our nine-year-old is interested in starting a dog walking business (with support from mom or dad), and we are also able to board a friendly dog who would be sharing space with our elderly dog or do drop-ins/ house sit when more appropriate (not the whole family!). We can provide exercise through walks, on-leash hikes, or whatever works for your dog. I’ve been around dogs most of my life and am comfortable with all ages (puppy to elderly). Our child is in a hybrid homeschool program so someone is home most days throughout the day to keep your pet company.

Shamarah did a great job with drop in visits for our 2 dogs (one of which is 18 and requires special attention). She was conciencious, caring, and communicative. We highly recommend her.
My little dachshund, Jack, gets SO excited when pulling up to Shamarah's house, you'd think he is the one going on vacation! He loves to sniff every inch of her big back yard, and she sends me pictures of him snoozing in the sun on her deck. I know he gets plenty of exercise and affection because after he is done sniffing all his favorite spots at home, he crashes out for a long nap. On one occasion, he needed medical attention (he is high-maintenance and allergy-prone), and Shamarah quickly recognized he needed help. She kept me well-informed and made good decisions in an emergency. I trust her completely to take the best care of my little goober! Excellent dog mom. Highly recommend.

Shamarah took such great care of Mojave. I loved getting updates and photos, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing Mojave was in such good hands. Mojave also had a great time with Shamarah’s dog, Duke. They had fun playing together, and Mojave was a good sport about sharing her ball. Shamarah is dependable, caring, and someone I would trust with Mojave again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful pet sitter.

Schedule
Our child is a hybrid homeschool program so we are home 4 days a week all day and gone for an hour or two on school days for drop off and pick up.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced yard and live close to dog friendly beaches and trails. If you have a cat you need a sitter for, we are available for drop-ins or to stay at your residence because our dog has strong opinions about the feline species.

A typical day
Daily neighborhood walks or long walks on the beach, games of fetch and other activities as requested. We are active people and can accommodate active dogs or dogs who require shorter walks.
