I have had pets all my life, and worked with animal rescues for many years. I am a former vet tech, so I am able to provide medical support for your pet as needed.

Shalyn was wonderful! My spoiled goldendoodle was so calm and happy when I went to pick her up and I knew right away Shalyn (and family) made her feel right at home. Shalyn send photos and updates every day. We were so happy to find such a wonderful home and warm-hearted sitter for our dog. As a bonus, Shalyn is a former veterinarian technician, so we always felt our pup was in good hands if something happened. I would highly recommend Shalyn!
Communicated regularly via text and photos and Kody came home excited to see us and seemed to have adjusted well during our trip.
Shalyn was very helpful to watch Asier on a more last minute request. He did really well in their home and with scout. She was quick to respond and provide updates!

Schedule
I am currently a part-time artist who works from home and also a mom to 2 teens. This leaves me plenty of time for your pup to be the center of attention (along with our dog). Our family loves dogs and your pet will be like part of our family!

I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space to run. Our dog Scout will keep your dog company and provide lots of play time. We can also take walks in our quiet neighborhood. I can easily crate your dog if needed while we are away or at night. Otherwise, you can send their own bed to be used around the house. Notes about our home: we have a two story house with all bedrooms upstairs. We usually have the dogs sleep in our bedroom, but we can set up an area downstairs if going up and down is difficult for your pet. Our back and front porches also have 4-5 steps into the yard.

A typical day
Since I am home all day, we will have plenty of time to play outside. Our dog Scout loves to play chase! There are plenty of indoor toys and comfortable beds for those rainy days too.
