Connecting with animals at a young age, I am a natural at handling their needs as well as seeing when something is wrong. Having had an array of animals to care for for over 30 years, I have alot of experience and am well equipped to handle problems, should they arise. I have been lucky enough to care for many breeds of dogs and cats as well as countless other animals. Our 10 acre farm is completely fenced in with ample space to run and is home to 2 dogs and other farm animals. I'm overall satisfied with my boarding experience. I reached out a few days before needing to board Navle and Shalom was able to accommodate me. I'm soooo grateful for the daily picture updates. This allowed me to know Navle was in safe care and doing well during her stay. Communicate was also great.
Shalom and her family are incredible. Her location is a dogs dream! She is a few miles out of town and in horse country and has a few herself that make it like a Doggie Summer Camp. I sincerely was a little afraid ours would not want to come back after spending time with her and her little Great Dane. Shalom not only provided an amazing experience for June but did so as a last minute request and saved me some tremendous stress being new to the area and a first time user of Rover. If she is available I would absolutely recommend her! Thank you Shalom
Shalom did an amazing job watching my dog, Carti, while I was away for work. From the beginning, she was professional, communicative, and made me feel comfortable leaving him in her care. She sent regular updates and pictures throughout his stay, which gave me peace of mind and reassured me that he was having a great time. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Carti and treated him like one of her own. When I picked him up, he was happy, well cared for, and seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed his time with her. I would absolutely trust Shalom to watch Carti again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. Thank you, Shalom!
Came on time and kept me informed. Went the extra mile and washed the utensils used to feed the dogs. Met them before the visit so they knew her. Would definitely use again.
Shalom was great with Enzo. She was also very responsive and sent us pictures of him playing. Enzo had a great time!
Shalom was great as a dog sitter! She is an animal lover and is kind! I would love to have her back as our dog sitter if she lived in Alaska!

Animal care comes first here at Emerald Oak Ranch! Whether it’s waking up early to feed or even checks during the night, we make sure all animals here are well taken care of and cared for.

Safety, trust & environment
Our property is fully fenced, and two dogs are onsite as well as farm animals. Depending on your pets needs, they will have some friendly buddies or we can keep them separate. If you just need a quick house call or walk for your pets, I will carefully follow your instructions to make your animals as comfortable as possible! It is my priority to make sure your pets are safe and taken care of at all times.

A typical day
Every dogs idea of fun is different. If your dog is playful, we will entertain them with games of fetch, or letting them tag along with us on our 10 acres. Constant access to fresh water, and food as instructed. There’s always lots going on around our farm, so dogs love the good exercise!
