Schedule
Animal care comes first here at Emerald Oak Ranch! We feed early morning and evening (customizable) with supervised potty breaks or playtime outside every couple hours throughout the day when they are ready for a break from chilling inside with us.

Safety, trust & environment
We try our best to keep your dogs routine, if possible. They will have constant access to fresh water, and food as instructed. Depending on their needs, they will have some friendly buddies (our 2 dogs and an occasional house guest) or we can keep them separate if necessary. With food in their bellies, lots of water, exercise and positive attention, your dog is sure to have a ball here on the farm.

A typical day
Every dogs’ idea of fun is different. If your dog is playful, we will entertain them with games of fetch, or letting them tag along with us on our farm adventures. Some dogs just want to be where the action is, which we allow so long as it is safe to do so. There’s always lots to see around the farm- horses, chickens, wild turkey, deer, squirrels, tortoise, frogs, lizards and more. Dogs get many chances to stretch out and run or explore daily.

- If you’d like to book a stay, your profile with all your dogs information MUST be fully filled out. I will not consider a stay here and put my family and animals at risk if all questions are not answered and filled out appropriately. I’d also love to know your dogs temperament, how they may respond to other animals they may see on our farm, whether they are free-roam or crate trained, and your feeding schedule/amounts. Daily routines, meds and problems/training issues are important as well. We do not have crates, so if your dog requires one, please bring it. If your dog is aggressive in ANY way, I need to know about it. While your dogs safety is a priority under my care, our safety is just as important.
