Hi there! I’m Shali, a full-time pet-sitter, lifelong animal lover, and your pet's new bestie. If you ask my friends, they’ll all tell you I’m 100% that person who stops mid-conversation to say hi to a dog walking by (no shame). With 15+ years of experience, I love taking care of pets of all sizes, ages, breeds, personalities, and needs. I specialize in senior pet care and have firsthand experience administering medication, eye drops, and handling conditions like IVDD, arthritis, etc. I've also earned a Cat & Dog First Aid Training certification from the American Red Cross. Besides dogs and cats, I've also cared for other animals, including bunnies, hamsters, reptiles, birds, etc. Over the years, I’ve also fostered animals, rescued animals off the streets in Puerto Rico, and volunteered with shelters and rescue organizations in PR and the U.S. Beyond my experience and skills, I bring a lot of heart, energy, and humor to every visit. Whether it’s a full-on belly rub session, extra-long sniffing walks, or goofy photo updates capturing your pet’s personality, I’m here to make sure your fur baby feels loved, happy, safe, and taken care of. Other Services: • Got a small pup who tires easily or has mobility issues? I’ve got a stroller for that! • Need a pet taxi? I’m happy to help with vet trips or errands. • Have a pet that’s not a dog or cat? I’d love to care for them too!

Safety, trust & environment
You can expect lots of TLC, playtime, and updates with fun photos. To me, it's all about making sure your pets feel happy, safe, and totally spoiled (in the best way, of course). I follow your pet's routine closely (meals, walks, potty breaks, favorite couch spots, etc.). I’m also a pro at keeping your home just as you left it, minus the happy, tired pet who’ll greet you when you return. Accidents? I'm happy to clean those too to the best of my ability (with your permission, of course).

This is the third time Shalimar has watched Daisy, and each time I am more impressed with her care. She even organized a mini photo shoot for Daisy's birthday since I couldn't be there to celebrate. I can't recommend her enough!

Schedule
I'm a full-time pet-sitter at the moment, which means I will provide attentive, loving care to your pet(s) while balancing a schedule that allows for walks, check-ins, playtime, snuggles, and everything in between. I am mostly available during mornings, lunch time, and after 3-4pm, but we can make some arrangements ahead of time depending on your needs. 🚨A Quick Heads-Up on House-Sitting Requests: Unfortunately, due to a back injury, I’m not offering overnight stays or extended all-day care in clients' homes at the moment; but don’t worry, your pet will still get lots of love and attention! I’m happy to stop by multiple times throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, meals, playtime, snuggles, and more. GOOD NEWS: If your pet needs constant companionship, I do offer boarding! If your pet or pets are comfy staying in my home, I'd love to host them and make them feel safe, cozy, and cared for. Not sure what’s best? Reach out; happy to chat it through!
