I have been caring for pets since I was a teenager and started my official Rover journey in 2019. My household currently has one puppy named Dolce. I have previously owned 4 cats at one time so I am well versed in cat care/behavior & an acclimation between new kitties meeting each other. I have experience in caring for senior pets, as well as administering oral medication when needed. I can do light training regarding basic commands, leash etiquette and recall skills. I have experience in training reactive dogs/dogs with high prey drive while on walks!

In my own home, I provide food 3 times a day and fresh water 24 hours. We have scheduled play time, and lots of cuddles (of course). For dogs, I do 3 potty breaks - morning, evening & bedtime. The morning and bedtime walks are typically shorter (5-15min, depending on your pup’s potty habits), whereas the evening walk is around 30 min. This varies depending on individual factors for each dog, of course! If I am stepping out of the house, I will usually bring the pup with me, unless the client specifies otherwise. In my client’s home, I try to stick to the care detailed for me. If the client has no specific care instructions, I will go based off of my own home care stated above. While I am always careful entering and exiting, please let me know if there any escape artists - especially my kitty clients!

Shalaja took care of my dog for a week and a half while I was traveling. She followed all the instructions I left with my dog's feeding and liver supplement schedule, sent regular updates (photos and videos) of my dog, and even took him to the Dog Bakery for a treat :-) I appreciate the care and attention she provided my dog during my time away!
Shalaja was awesome with Brolin! Knowing Brolin was with her gave me peace of mind. She sent updates while I was away and was very quick to respond whenever I had questions. I’m sure it won’t be the last time they see each other. Highly recommend! 😊
Excellent pet sitter! She took great care of my dog and guinea pigs while I was away on vacation. She ssnt updates and photos and they were happy and healthy when I arrived home. She was flexible and able to add a day when my flight got delayed a day. I would definitely chose her again!
Shalaja was great! She house sat for us and cared for our two dogs one of who is senior and pretty high maintenance. She was very good with them and left our house in great condition. I would definitely recommend her and work with her again.

Zeitplan
I am a college student, in class Monday & Wednesday from 8am -1pm! As long as your companion can go about 5 hours without a potty break, our schedules will align just fine! My remaining weekdays and weekends are completely open.
