Hey! First, I want to thank you for visiting my page! Feel free to call me Nikki! I specialize in pupcare for small breed pups(20 lbs max). Be sure to check out the pics to see some cute pups! I have 2 small breed fur babies and have a deep love for animals. Your pups will be cared for like my own. Your fur babies will be entertained, cuddled and loved during their stay!

5 Stars all the way! Diva and Bossman lived their stay with Shakita. Shakita was attentive and snuggled the dogs, giving them the much needed hugs and attention they wanted. We will be coming back to have Shakita take care of them again! The dogs were happy, and Shakita took pictures throughout the weekend, which was so nice knowing that these babies were truly calm and happy! Can’t wait to book again with Shakita!

Words can’t express how grateful we were to find Shakita! Our plans changed at the last minute requiring a panicked search for a sitter. Our dog Harley is only 6 pounds, so we were nervous about leaving her with just anyone. Shakita’s reviews were excellent and knowing that she had smaller dogs put us at ease. Her communication was excellent and she often provided pictures and video. It was clear that Harley was having a ball with her new friends. She was on a vacation just as much as we were!
Nikki is so wonderful with Bailey! Really love her and her heart for the dogs in her care.

Schedule
Pet care is apart of my daily routine. I work from home and we start our day around 8 am. We have at least 4 potty breaks in our personal fenced in area. It's small, but a perfect size for small breed pups! I also provide daily walks based on each owners preference.

I have 2 friendly small breed pups. Sage is 9 lbs and Chico weighs 13 lbs. They love to play with new friends. If your pup is a TV watcher I also have a DOGTV subscription! My space is not huge, but I can guarantee your pups will get lots of exercise and love! My pups are apart of my family so they are allowed anywhere we are in the home. I currently care for crate trained and/or partially trained dogs. I only board small breed dogs due my apartment not being huge and I want to ensure your pup has enough space to play and be comfortable . Before accepting boarding requests I do ask that your Rover profile be updated with all necessary information to ensure safety, including updated pictures and updated weight of your pups. My max weight limit is 15 lbs. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. I am conveniently located less than a mile off of Exit 92(Ashland).

A typical day
Your pup will enjoy sniffing games, tug of war, free time in a fenced porched area, walks and play time with my pups. I can provide treats, if ok.
