Hi! I’m Shakiba, a lifelong pet lover with over six years of experience dog sitting and fostering rescue dogs. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from tiny lap dogs to gentle giants, including those with medical needs. I’m comfortable providing special care, giving medication, and making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and loved. I work a hybrid schedule, so I can host new dogs from Friday to Monday. Established clients are welcome any day of the week. I usually host one dog along with my own, unless the dogs already know each other and get along well.

Shakiba took awesome care of our dog Maggie! Maggie loved playing with Paco! Shakiba was very patient as Maggie adjusted to a new environment and welcomed her to their pack. Shakiba sent daily updates and pictures and very responsive. Wouldn’t hesitate to book Shakiba in the future!
Shakiba was so attentive and communicative! Although my pup had a few anxiety accidents, she was very understanding. I appreciated the daily updates on Peggy and I highly recommend Shakiba!

We are beyond grateful for Shakiba! She took incredible care of our dog while we were away on vacation, and it was clear from the start that she truly loves animals. She went above and beyond—sending us daily pictures and updates, brushing him, feeding him, and taking him on walks. Her communication was excellent, and we always felt at ease knowing our pup was in such caring hands. She treated him like her own fur child, and we couldn’t have asked for more. We would recommend Shakiba over and over again to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving, and responsible pet sitter. She’s absolutely wonderful!
I like that Shakiba sent pictures and kept me updated. She had the patience handling a two year old dog who is going through a humping phase. The fact that her home is only 15 minutes away is a plus factor! We will be using her services again.

Schedule
I work from home Mondays and Fridays, so your dog will get plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Share your dog’s routine with me, and I’ll plan around my schedule to keep them comfortable and on their habits.

Safety, trust & environment
In our home, pets are treated like part of the family. I’m able to provide plenty of supervision, playtime, and affection throughout the day. I have a secure fenced yard for safe potty breaks and outdoor play, and pets are welcome to relax inside where it’s cozy. I do my best to follow each dog’s normal routine for walk times, feeding schedules, or special care so they feel comfortable and at ease. I also have a few crates available to provide dogs with personal space if they need it.

A typical day
I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy! Depending on their energy level and preferences, this might include walks around the neighborhood, playing fetch, or fun games indoors or in my fenced yard. I also like to add enrichment activities—such as puzzle feeders or Kong toys—to keep their minds stimulated. If you’d like, I can also practice basic commands to help reinforce good manners while we spend time together.
