In my time dog and cat sitting, I've realized that taking care of pets is a lot like taking care of children. Beyond preparing their meals, managing their pee-pee and poo-poo, and playing with them, pets also need genuine attention, care, and interest. Because I'm energetic and love doing fun activities, I get along great with dogs, cats, and kids. Taking care of them feels a lot like hanging out with friends. Respect is really important in this job. Pets have their own dignity, and we should always respect that. I remind myself that these pets could be respected members of their community, so we need to treat them accordingly. Lastly, just like humans, pets share similar behaviors but have unique needs. While you can learn common tricks and behaviors, each pet should be treated as an individual, not just part of a group. Aside from all that stuff, I am deeply fond of animals and am very fun with them.

Flo (Shakiba) is such an amazing dog sitter and I felt so comfortable leaving Onyx in her care for 1.5 weeks. She is very communicative, professional, and you can tell she really loves and cares for animals! Onyx was well exercised, tired and very happy when I got home from vacation. I can tell they had a really great time! She made sure to send daily pictures and updates so I was looped in just the right amount. Would definitely book with her again in the future!

Schedule
Since I'm off school, I'm free all day to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends and any time during the weekdays.

I ensure your pets are safe and comfortable in their own home. I follow your care instructions closely, provide plenty of playtime, and always keep a close eye on them.
A typical day
A typical day depends on the pets I am taking care of. If a sitting a cat, at dawn I wake up and feed them before going for a run. But if I am sitting dogs, I go on a run with them and then we all have breakfast together. I take a shower and let them relax. When I work, I keep them close so I can keep an eye on them and make sure they are doing ok. Every hour I take quick breaks with them and then we all have lunch. I finish the day with another walk around the area with dogs, and then we might do something fun like watching a movie or baking/cooking something special. Then we go to sleep and do it all over again. ;)
