Pawsome service? I’m your dog 😎

Back in 2022, my sister got a half Cavalier, half Golden pup named Oakley, and he honestly made me realize how much I love being around animals. Helping raise him from a puppy taught me a ton—like how to be patient, stay consistent, and really tune into what a dog needs emotionally. I’ve also spent a lot of time taking care of other family dogs, especially when they were puppies. I’ve always had a natural connection with animals, and being around them just makes me happy. I’m patient, warm, and pretty intuitive when it comes to reading a dog’s mood or needs.

Shakeel, along with his family, were exceptional in caring for our Echo. They took such good care of him, did a phenomenal job in keeping us informed with what he was doing and not doing, sent us pictures daily regarding his activity and level of comfort, and even offered to cook food for him... chicken and rice to be exact... oh...and an omlette also! We are so so so grateful that we found him on this sight!!! We are looking forward to continuing our boarding relationship with Shakeel and his family!!! Exceptional care!!! Thank you so very much!!!!

Schedule

From Monday to Friday, I have a work from home job which would make me flexible for walks and feeding schedules. I can practically take a break anytime in the day to take care of any emergencies or issues that could arise. After work, which ends at 5pm, I am very flexible for any type of care, including check-in and drop-ins.

Safety, trust & environment

When I’m caring for pets, whether it’s in my home or someone else’s, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I keep their space clean and free from anything that could be harmful, and I try to stick closely to their normal routine so they feel at ease. I pay attention to the little things. How they react to new people, what makes them feel calm, when they like to eat or go out. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to understand what they need and how they communicate. More than anything, I treat them with patience, kindness, and respect. I want them to feel like they’re in good hands, because they are.

A typical day

A typical day with me is pretty laid-back and all about making sure the pet feels safe, happy, and entertained. We’ll start the day with some playtime, maybe a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or just running around together. If they like walks, we’ll head outside for some fresh air and sniffing around the neighborhood. I try to keep things balanced with both fun and downtime. If they’re more energetic, I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise. If they’re more of a cuddle-on-the-couch type, I’m happy to hang out and keep them company. I also like using toys or little games to keep their minds active. Throughout the day, I just pay attention to what they enjoy and follow their lead. It’s all about making them feel comfortable and cared for while having a good time.

Before watching any pet, I like to learn as much as I can about their personality, routine, and needs. Knowing their feeding schedule, how much exercise they usually get, and what toys or activities they enjoy really helps. I also ask about any health conditions, allergies, or medications so I can make sure they’re well taken care of. It's also helpful to know how they act around new people, other animals, or in unfamiliar environments. Every pet is different, and understanding those little details makes a big difference. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make them feel safe, happy, and at home.
