I have been taking care of dogs for about 10 plus years now including my own babies, my family’s pets, and friends. I am specialized in training puppies since I trained two of my own puppies. Training puppies is very important beyond potty training because training builds the relationship between pet and companion. Recall is very important along with commands. I am versed in providing care to senior dogs with the action of administering medicines, special baths, or special diets. I am able to adapt and accommodate to any schedule for your pet. Walking, grooming, enriching toys, and bonding time are essentials to me when caring for a pet. My experience ensures a safe, loving, and stimulating environment, giving you peace of mind while you're away. I will treat your pets like family, delivering the highest standard of care.

Shakayla’s mom was my co-worker. I needed a pet sitter one weekend, and her mom recommended her daughter take care of my pets! I have a cat and a small dog. Shakayla took the best care of my babies while I was gone for the weekend! I did not have to teach her much about caring for my cat since she had a kitty herself! She updated me frequently about my babies, which gave me peace of mind while I was on my trip! She did such a great job feeding them, letting them use the bathroom, and playing with them! She went out of her way to give them some new treats she thought they would enjoy (she asked me for permission, of course!). My pets came home clean and happy. Shakayla is a responsible and loving caregiver to pets, and it made me really happy how she cared for my pets.
Shakayla is a caring and affectionate person! She will take fantastic care of your fur babies! Shakayla used to care for my dogs while she lived in Georgia! I found her as she was walking her dogs in the neighborhood! I went out of town occasionally for work, and I would ask her to drop in and pet sit every few hours out of the day. Shakayla took amazing care of my two babies. I have a doberman and a standard poodle! She took great care in following their daily schedules of eating, walking, grooming, and playing. She would also take pictures of my babies to send to me so I know they are having a good time! I cannot praise her enough!

Schedule
I am college student, and I am currently enrolled in online programs. I also have a work study internship through my school where I work from home, so I have plenty of time to care and love your pets. The pets will fit into my daily schedule of exercise, and they will provide me with opportunities to go to different dogs parks.

I can crate your fur baby if you would prefer this option, but I usually allow my two pets to roam free in my home. Also, my pets sleep in their beds within my room. I have two dogs, a maltipoo and a very friendly doodle. I have a fenced in yard with enough room for your pet to play and run around. I have a designated area to wash small - medium sized dogs. While I do allow my pets to roam free, I mostly supervise their play, and I will always be watching over your pets. I have a feeding schedule for my pets and can accommodate to a feeding schedule for yours. Lastly, I groom my pets daily with a fur brushing and tooth cleaning which I am happy to perform for your pets too.
A typical day
I would love to offer a variety of fun activities to do with your pet. I have and can provide fun, plushy, and squeaky toys for your pet for leisure play, or I can provide enriching toys that will stimulate their minds. My neighborhood is humongous, so I can take your pet on a regular or long walk with beautiful scenery. I live across an expansive grass area with trees, so if your pet has awesome recall we can play fetch in this field. The neighborhood also has a dog park, with a water fountain, so we can have fun here too. Lastly, we can curl up and settle down.
