I work from home, my husband works a lot and my 16 year old is busy being a teenager. I’m very flexible and can do doggy walks, overnights stays and even host dogs at my house. I have no current pets.

I have a lot of experience with doodles, boxers, and huskies but love ALL furry babies. Puppies are welcome too, if hosting at my house I do prefer some entry level potty training.
A typical day
I love walking and hiking and would be happy to bring your dog on fun outdoor adventures! We also have a doggy park in our neighborhood(that is always empty). Great place to play fetch or get some zoomies out!

I’ve had and cared for dogs and cats my entire life. My neighbors call on me as they know how much I love their pets as my own. I have experience with training and had an Australian Labradoodle as well as cat. I am not quite ready to get a new dog but would love to spend time with some furry friends with my current flexibility!

Shakara was caring for Coleman when Hurricane Helene hit the area where we live. She kept him safe with her family, despite needing to evacuate and relocate various times. She’s not a “dog sitter”, she is a permanent part of Coleman’s extended family, and we will be forever grateful to her and her family!
Shakara really loved our baby like her own, which we appreciate so much! He was so comfortable there, he was still happy to go to her even when we came to pick him up. She’s a wonderful dog sitter and we will definitely use her again!
Shakara and her family too SUCH good care of Bailey! She went on loads of long walks and got to snuggle in bed with their daughter in the evenings. We will certainly be keeping them in mind for Bailey’s company in the future! Thank you!!
