Veterinary tech(nurse) & lover!
Hello, I have always had pets from dogs and cats to guinea pigs. I have volunteered as a cat and dog care assistant at the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society in Menands, NY. I graduated from NYU in 2014 and worked for 2 years as a veterinary technologist (aka animal nurse). Your dog is certain to get a minimum of 3 walks a day and I am located nearby various dog walks and parks. Your pet will be treated with as much love and affection that you give yourself because I genuinely love animals. I always tell my dog Edgar (who lives with my mother) that he is the same as everyone else, he just looks a little different! Shakara was so lovely and sweet to my pups. It was obvious when I picked them up that they'd bonded with her and her bf, that she knew their personalities and had taken great care of them. Shakara was also very cool about some last minute scheduling shifts that could have derailed someone less accommodating. Highly recommended!
