We take great care in ensuring that every pet in our home feels safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. First, we carefully screen all potential clients by asking detailed questions to assess whether their dog will be a good fit for our environment. If the booking isn’t last-minute, we always try to arrange a meet-and-greet so we can assess how your dog interacts with our own. Our two pups are well-socialized and have a calm, friendly demeanor, which helps put visiting dogs at ease. Based on this initial interaction, we'll confirm the booking if it seems like a good match. For daycare and boarding, we prioritize safety and trust. If we have multiple dogs in our care, we ensure they’re all comfortable and friendly with other dogs. We introduce new dogs gradually, carefully observing their body language. If they’re all comfortable, we’ll let them spend the day together. If any issues arise, we separate the dogs into different areas of the house, with Kevin and I each supervising from opposite ends to ensure everyone stays calm and safe. So far, we've been fortunate to have had no issues with aggressive behavior, as all the pups in our care have gotten along well. Ultimately, we create an environment where your dog will feel at home, ensuring peace of mind for both pets and their owners. Safety, trust, and a positive environment are always our top priorities.

A typical day in the life of a dog sitter is filled with fun, structure, and plenty of attention for all the pups in my care. On a regular day, I have a maximum of 3-4 dogs, in addition to our two, for both daycare and boarding. The day usually starts around 8:00 AM, when I let all the dogs out for a quick potty break in the backyard. By 8:30 AM, everyone gets their breakfast, and by 9:00 AM, they’re let out again for another break. If it's a busy day with a full house, I make sure every pup gets enough exercise by taking two separate rounds of walks by 10:00 AM. Afterward, the dogs are usually tired and will settle down for a nap until noon, though some will play with each other while I get some work done. In the afternoon, around 1:30-2:30 PM, I give the pups another potty break in the backyard. If there are playful dogs in the group, I make sure they get at least 30 minutes of playtime before the group settles down again after lunch. By 4:30-5:00 PM, it’s time for another round of walks, or sometimes I’ll take them to a nearby field where they can run around with the long leash. The evening is a relaxing time for everyone to unwind and hang out. Dinner is served around 6:00 PM unless otherwise specified. Afterward, we take one last walk at 8:00 PM before settling down for the night. At bedtime, each dog has the freedom to sleep wherever they’re most comfortable—most prefer the couch near the foot of our bed or their own doggy bed. Occasionally, a dog will try to sneak onto our bed but usually ends up on the couch as the night goes on, likely due to the warmth. Throughout the day, the dogs are never far from my attention, and I ensure they’re comfortable, well-exercised, and happy. I ensure that each owner is well updated throughout the day with photos and videos. It’s a peaceful and structured routine that allows each dog to feel right at home.
