I’m not sure if I would recommend Shaina again, but maybe I just had high expectations so I will share my experience. We are military and had to leave town last minute for a funeral, seeing that she was also military made us feel better. We met her ahead of time and liked her! Agreed & scheduled her to come at specific times. She was over an hour late the first morning so I texted her to check in and asked her to please be closer to the scheduled time in the future so the dog wouldn’t have to hold her pee in the morning, she agreed. That didn’t change much & she was anywhere from on time to 2 hours late for check ins the rest of the week. The last night, I texted her because it was 9:30pm and she hadn’t come by yet (scheduled 8:30), she said she was leaving a game night and would head over, she got there around 10. I just don’t understand why schedule specific times if you’re nowhere near that time? Or I would love a heads up so we don’t have to worry being so far away. My other issue (well more my husbands issue than mine) was that she brought a guy over. I don’t know what’s expected of rover check ins so maybe this is normal, but again a heads up would’ve been nice. We have a German shepherd and the reason we met Shaina before hiring her was so the dog would be familiar with her AND because she will be in our home while we’re not home, with all of our stuff. So it wasn’t comforting knowing a stranger also tagged along. Not a horrible experience, we came home and the pets were taken care of. I just wanted to share so others could be aware and make sure to set clear expectations ahead of time.

Shaina is great! Her schedule is flexible and she’s a natural with my 8 week old puppy. We look forward to her helping us out more!

Shaina is a very reliable individual and is wonderful with all animals. Growing up she has been around and taken care of horses, cows, bison, cats, and dogs! She loves taking care of them and snuggling with them ! Your animals will love all the attention she will give them!

I have known Shaina since we were children and this girl can take care any animal, from rodents to buffalo. Literally, she owned and raised buffalo. She is one of the most responsible people I know and you can really count on her to get whatever you need done.

Shaina is a kind-hearted, thoughtful person who adores and loves every animal she encounters. She looked after my 1-year-old kitty Jessie while I went out of town and gave her great care, going above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and happy. She dotes on all the animals she passes by and will stop whatever she's doing to give them love and attention. I'd trust her to take care of my cat, and any other pets I may have in the future, for both short and long periods of time.
