I've known Shahar since we were young, and we have been together for almost a decade now. I'm Jono's proud cat-mom and definitely the "spare human" of our household. Jono is so deeply connected to Shahar, he follows his papa and cuddles with him whenever he can. It's very sweet and I'm just a tiny bit jealous. He's the best cat-dad I could have hoped for. When it comes to dogs, Shahar really helped me understand better how to read them and approach them. I only had cats around growing up, and dogs are vastly different from cats. Shahar helped me gain confidence around dogs, and it is heartwarming to see how he forms connections with them. I've seen Shahar take care of his dad's dogue de bordeaux when they were living together for several years, and also his grandpa's new (very energetic) boxer who truly never ran out of stamina. Shahar is very patient and understanding of the needs of animals, and genuinely loves to care for them and spend time with them.
