I am a retired student-athlete, competing at both Michigan State University as well as Coastal Carolina University as a women’s softball catcher. I earned my undergraduate degree in Zoology at MSU, and my graduate degree in Marine Biology at CCU. I started my pet-sitting journey during college (2016) and have been caring for a variety of pets ever since. From scales to fur to feathers, I have cared for them all! I am a MAJOR animal lover especially to my 3 cats, 3 birds, and veiled chameleon. I ensure that your babies get the utmost care so that they can feel at ease while you are away. I like to make sure that both you and your fur baby are completely satisfied with my services. I am big on communicating with you about the status of your pet, providing plenty of pictures during our time together! I have a very long history with senior animals, exotic animals, CPR, medication administration, and so much more. I was a volunteer at Acadiana Animal Aid (LA), Birds and Beaks Rescue and Rehab (MI), and have been pet sitting for 7 years. I can promise you that your babies will be happy and safe with me :)

Shae was wonderful. She took great care of our Shepherds and sent lots of pictures and texts . She is extremely attentive to the the needs of our girls and is there for them . I will definitely use her again !
This was our first time using Rover and we felt completely comfortable using her! She sent us photos of our pets and took great care of them. We felt comfortable knowing they were home and being taken care of by someone so attentive. We will definitely use her again!

Schedule
My job requires me to work very odd hours and not on a regular schedule, but I am completely open to having a conversation about your pet’s needs and how I can be the most available for your baby!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in backyard, but I am always with your pet during every outside event. I like to ensure there are no hazardous items in my home to ensure your pets safety and comfortability. If I am hired to stay at your home, I like to make myself at home as this tends to make your pets feel more relaxed. I always respect my clients home, as I treat it like my own. Once I leave, I like to leave it like I was never there.

I love dog parks and I love to play fetch! I am an experienced dog walker for all sizes of pooch, and I can also go as long or short as your canine prefers!
