I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I’ve been able to walk. Grew up with a Boxer, Pitbull & a kitty. My mom and I opened our home to fostering during Covid. Taken in eight puppies at once while also potty training and teaching sit command. I can also train for walks!! Took care of my senior dog that had heart, thyroid and skin issues so I am experienced in administering medications when needed, syringe or oral. I also am experienced in taking care of dogs with special needs, including dogs that may use a wheelchair. The one to call when family and friends need a sitter because of my reliability, flexibility, and amount of love their pets receive in my care. Our house is the play house and we don’t care about messes or how unruly your children(doggos) are. I also have experience in taking care of chickens and I make homemade all natural dog treats!!

I take care of your pups as if they were my own. Big fenced in backyard with room to roam and play safely, they are not restricted to areas and are allowed on all furniture including my bed if that’s what makes them most comfortable. I adapt to your pets needs, whether they follow a strict schedule day to day or just need someone to let them be their crazy selves I can adhere to all and any requests. I can even offer a pool in the summer if your pup loves the water!! If I am watching your pups at your place, I will follow their schedule strictly if you’d like, or if you want them to have their own little vacation I don’t mind doing whatever it is you’d like me to do to make sure their needs are met and they are happy. We can have fun doing any of their little hobbies they like, just let me know if you have a fenced in backyard, or if they go potty from walks and anything I need to watch out for on walks.

Shaelyn did an amazing job watching our two pups while my husband and I were away on our two-week honeymoon. Our dogs had a wonderful time enjoying Shaelyn’s beautiful yard, playing, and going on walks. We received daily updates and pictures, which gave us such peace of mind. One of our dogs is still being trained out of some puppy behaviors, and Shaelyn was so understanding — she aligned perfectly with us on commands and rewards. Our other dog takes prescription allergy pills, and Shaelyn made sure his medication was administered as directed. I wholeheartedly recommend Shaelyn to anyone who wants their dogs to have a loving, relaxing, and safe home while they’re away. She’s now our first choice for dog boarding and we have her booked for future trips.
Shaelyn is amazing! She was very communicative and did a wonderful job walking my two pups 2x a week, who aren’t always the easiest. One is still in training and tends to pull on the leash, but Shaelyn has been so patient and meets my dogs where they are. I highly recommend her!
Shaelyn was absolutely amazing. We have previously boarded our dog at facilities but never at someone’s house or through Rover. This was by far the best experience I could have asked for. Shaelyn provided daily updates and pictures, and she was responsive, caring, and went above and beyond to make sure our doggie had the best time (even took him on extra walks each day just because she saw how much he enjoyed them!). I will never board him anywhere else again.
Shaelyn was absolutely wonderful with our 4 month old puppy! She provided regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our puppy looked so happy and comfortable the entire time. I truly appreciate that, upon our request, she cared for him without any other dogs around, making sure he had her full attention. She took excellent care of him, and it was clear she treated him like her own. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and responsible sitter! Will be going back to her whenever we need anyone to sit the pups!
My dog Loki has a wonderful time staying with Shaelyn. Shaelyn really took care really good of him. I will definitely use Shaelyn’s service in the future!
Shaelyn was wonderful! She sent lots of pictures and status updates. She treated our dogs wonderfully and I know they received lots of love while we were gone.

Harmonogram
Right now I work part time to pay for school 4-5 days a week, only 20-25 hours and normally in the morning. I also have a more flexible side job that only schedules when they need me and it can be 2-3 days a week usually in the evenings. For that side job I can also choose to not work for the week if I am watching your fur baby. I enjoy staying busy, but I love taking care of animals more and would much rather spend the day with your pup! I am also a full time college student but my work is online, so I am mainly at the house if I’m not at work. While your doggo is in my care, my top priority will be tending to their needs and pampering them as if this was their own little vacation. I can even bring out the pool! After I get off your pup has all my time and the day is full of their favorite activities. I will even wake up earlier to give them a walk before I leave if need be. For boarding your pup, my mom and I share a home & she works remotely so she will be here during the mornings so your pup wouldn’t be alone. She can do potty breaks or feeding times if 5am is too early. Let me know your fur babies schedule and we will accommodate. If I am watching your pup/pups at your place then it’ll still be the same concept, just letting me know how I can best adhere to their schedule. My daily life includes work, online school and reading.. so I will always be there for them. :)
