I was once a volunteer trainer for Guide Dogs for the Blind program and have trained many dogs of my own growing up. I am comfortable handling any age of dogs, puppies or older pups needing special care and supervision. Pet care is always part of our daily routine in our family as we own three dogs of our own and a small family farm. We are always available for any updates or questions you may need to ensure your pup is having a comfortable stay!

I booked this sitter for boarding my 14-year-old dog based on the listing advertising 24/7 supervision and regular care. During pickup, no one was home. There were multiple dogs on the property, and I had to retrieve my dog myself from a kennel area while trying to manage other dogs to prevent them from getting out. This made the situation feel unsafe and unorganized. I have not experienced a dog boarding situation from an at home sitter that had so many dogs so that is my error for not asking how many other dogs would be there but I was not expecting the amount of dogs that were there at once. Communication during the stay was limited. I did not receive updates or photos unless I asked, and the first photo I was sent was not of my dog. When I arrived, a PACFA investigator was also present on site. While this could mean nothing, the interaction was unsettling. While my dog was returned to me, my experience did not reflect the level of supervision or care that was advertised. Based on what I experienced, I would not book again. After getting my dog home, she has been noticeably stressed and unsettled, which is unusual for her after previous boarding experiences. I would encourage other pet owners to ask very specific questions about supervision, in-person presence, and how they keep senior dogs separated from other dogs before booking.
As always, our dogs had a great time with Shaela. We appreciate her care for the two of them! Our city dogs love getting out to the country!! Thank you!!!

Our boys love shaela . We've never had problems with her and we've used her 3 or 4 times. She's very accommodating. She gives updates frequently. Gold Star all around. So glad we found her.

Schedule
We do have an infant. He was born in January! So if you do not feel comfortable with your dogs around babies. Please find other arrangements but I’m also happy to do meet and greets if you feel that’s needed :). Lots of time for play and rest inside! We try to keep your dogs routine as close to their home routine as possible! Our dogs love having visitors and playing with the doggie daycare pups!

We have an impeccable facility for you to feel comfortable about your pup staying and playing with us! Each dog is under 24/7 constant supervision and we have five dog yards so that dogs can be separated if need be. Home all day to ensure your pup has the care, attention and potty breaks they need! Our dog yards have coverage for shade/ toys for playing and of course constant supervision. Each dog run serves its own purpose. Some are bigger for large play areas. Some are smaller for short potty breaks on hot days!

A typical day
A typical day around our farm is taking walks around our own property, down to the mailbox, and around the neighborhood. This allows the dogs to get out of the house and walk in a controlled environment. We also have many different fenced in areas for play time!
