I am self-employed though I am a student, so my schedule is a bit different most days. Generally, afternoons and evenings are available. As my self employment requires me to be at my home office, I prefer not to do overnights regularly.

I love playing frisbee and catch, snuggling, and taking very long walks. Dog parks and trail running are always a great time too- for both of us!

Pet care experience
NOTE: Shae is my legal name but I go by Freyja. Having grown up with dogs (black labs mostly), rabbits, birds, fish, lizards, and amphibians, I am quite comfortable around all animals. It seems only natural that I ended up working in the Denali NPS Kennel and ran sled dog tours on Svalbard. I worked at a dog daycare for about 4 months and a pig rescue/boarding facility for a few months as well. I LOVE big dogs!

Shae (aka Fraya) has an understanding of animals that allows him to connect with them and better care for their needs. I was able to see him working with animals firsthand in Denali National Park where he worked with about 30 Alaskan Husky Sled Dogs in the park's kennel (if you can handle 30 very smart and high energy federal working dogs you can handle just about anything). He also has extensive experience with pet-sitting as he cat and dog sat for different park employees throughout his summer in Alaska. His experience and skill working with both working dogs and pets has proven that he is knowledgeable and responsible. Above all else, he seems to have an overflowing amount of love for animals in general, but especially dogs and cats. I am confident that between his personality, skill level, and experience, that he would make a fantastic pet walker/sitter.
I've known Shae and his family since before he was born and I know he will be a perfect fit for a job caring for pets. He has vast experience with all types of animals, from frogs and lizards, to birds and fish, and has never been without a dog or two at home. Shae has a talent with dogs in particular and displays a calm energy and gentle nature with them. He has both lived and worked with all different breeds from high-energy terriers to his sister's mellow service dog. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Shae for an animal caregiving position. Thank you
Fraya took care of my cats for a long weekend. He perfectly followed direction for feeding times and made sure to keep in contact with me so I knew nothing was going wrong. I would definitely let him cat sit for me again in the future.
