Hi! I'm Seth. and I have over 30 years of experience caring for all kinds of animals. I recently moved from California to Ann Arbor so I'm moving from a word of mouth reputation, online to Rover. I'm comfortable with all breeds, all sizes and all ages. I'm patient, kind and maintain a tidy, safe, and relaxed environment, caring for your animals and your home, inside and out. I'm experienced with special care needs and currently volunteer at Starry Skies Equine Rescue and Sanctuary in Ann Arbor, providing gentle, attentive care to horses, mules, goats and cattle. Dogs & cats are my primary specialty, but I connect easily with all animals.

We will start with a 15-30 minute in-home meet and greet. Please provide a printed list detailing veterinary office/phone number, preferred emergency animal hospital, routines/routes, typical walk times and duration, and any helpful reminders that will help me in keeping your dog(s) safe and happy. A one time demonstration of your preferred feeding schedule/routine is a good idea, so if possible the meet and greet should be as close to this time as possible, allowing me to feed them will start the trust association into my care. Unfortunately, I'm not hosting any animals in my home at this time.

Seth seems very knowledgeable and accommodating, especially with our high energy 1-year-old pup. He communicated when he had questions and both pets seemed happy when we got home. Would happily use Seth again!
Seth watched our dog Blue in our home for four nights, and we can’t recommend him highly enough. He was professional, respectful, and easy to communicate with the entire time. What stood out most was how much genuine time he spent with Blue. He didn’t just cover the basics, he played all of Blue’s favorite games, like chasing him around the couch and playing with his favorite toys. It was clear he really cared about making sure Blue was happy, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. When we got home, Blue was calm, happy, and clearly well cared for which is exactly what you hope for when you leave your dog with someone. We could tell he hadn’t been stressed at all while we were gone. Seth also took great care of our home and left everything clean and in excellent condition. We’d absolutely work with him again and would confidently recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and caring dog sitter.
Seth is a simply marvellous with pets! Undervalued I would say on Rover! The fee amount for dog sitting that Seth is charging doesn’t truly reflect the level of service he is providing. His knowledge about animals in general is truly amazing! Thank you Seth for such wonderful work ethics and compassion you bring in to your work and in life! More power to you and all of the rover community for aiding pet parents with their needs. God bless you!
Seth is reliable, and communicates well. Our dog enjoys her time with him. We will definitely continue to book with him!
Seth did great caring of our pup while we were away for 4 nights. He asked detailed questions and left the house cleaned even after having to deal with the snow melting.
Seth sent updates on his visit, including photos, and we came home to a happy dog! We are glad to have found Seth, and we will definitely book him again!

I pet sit as a full time job and I volunteer 2 hours every day at the Horse Rescue in Ann Arbor. My availability is wide open.
