I have been a dog owner my whole life. I've had breeds from chihuahuas to pit bulls. I love dogs they brighten my day.I am the proud dog dad of my Pomeranian (cyrus) age 5 I've had him since he was a pup and he lives in harmony with my brothers pit bull which I also brought home as a pup he's 15, I love all animals , my life has practically been a zoo. I also like to rescue animals when I get the chance.I am trying make a career out of caring and helping animals so I am applying to shelters so that I can care for animals full time. I chose this sitter based on his strong reviews and Star Sitter status, but unfortunately my experience did not meet expectations. Although I had arranged for him to stay two nights, he arrived late the first night (12/29), which I had paid for separately outside of Rover. On 12/30, he left my home around noon and did not return to take my dogs out or feed them dinner. There was no explanation, and I had to ask a family member to go over and care for them. In addition, personal belongings were left behind in my home, which was unprofessional and concerning. I had provided clear instructions, and one of my dogs is older and needs to be let out frequently. While Rover did issue a refund for the Rover booking, I would not feel comfortable booking this sitter again.

Sergio was great with our two dogs. One of our dogs is a bit difficult and he took to Sergio right away. Sergio's easy to work with and we will absolutely hire him again.
Sergio went above and beyond for us! This was our first time hiring him and the big storms that we had caused some unexpected problems and Sergio really helped us with that as well. Our pets seem to have gotten very comfortable around him within a short period of time. We came home to all of our animals happy and healthy, our house in the shape that we left it in and he gave us peace of mind while away on a much needed family trip! Recommend and will definitely hire him again when/if he is available.
