Sergio can care for
Availability
It’s not uncommon for me to spend up to 24 hours per day with a dog I’m sitting. A dog in my care will enjoy plenty of walks, occasional field trips to the beach or local parks, and lots of snuggles and affection.

Information Sergio P. would like to know about your pet
I'd love to know any special caretaking considerations for your pet! I’m experienced in watching anything from a Maltese puppy to a 3-year-old lab all the way to a 14-year-old Golden Retriever who was blind and deaf. I am comfortable with dogs who have dog- and/or stranger-aggression as well as dogs who love everything and everyone they meet.
A typical day
When I dog sit... + I spend most (occasionally all) of the day at home with your pooch. I work remotely and, thus, spend lots of time keeping your dog company. + Dogs in my care receive at least one long walk per day with shorter walks interspersed throughout. + Longer stays often include outings to visits to the beach, hikes, and/or picnics at the park. + I understand that some dogs are more comfortable sleeping alone and/or in a crate, but welcome dogs who are used to sleeping in a bed. + Your dog will receive TONS of cuddles, exercise, affection and be treated with kindness and respect. + I send detailed messages every 1-2 days with pictures and am always reachable via text or phone. + For stays exceeding five nights - and for dogs that are amenable to it - I'm happy to give your pup a bath before I leave.

It’s not uncommon for me to spend up to 24 hours per day with a dog I’m sitting. A dog in my care will enjoy plenty of walks, occasional field trips to the beach or local parks, and lots of snuggles and affection. Growing up, my father was a farmer and my mother treated our home as a sanctuary for every stray animal she came across. I’ve been dog/cat sitting independently for several years and was thrilled when a friend told me about Rover. When I dog sit... + I spend most (occasionally all) of the day at home with your pooch. If they're not available, I will strip the bed. I’m experienced in watching anything from a Maltese puppy to a 3-year-old lab all the way to a 14-year-old Golden Retriever who was blind and deaf. Happy to do the occasional short drop-in/walks and I love sitting overnight, but hanging out for just an afternoon/evening can be difficult with my schedule/other dog care responsibilities.

Reviews

Sergio was wonderful! He cat-sat for us while we were away and regularly sent photos of Bro, which we really appreciated. Bro takes medication, and Sergio was attentive and reliable in making sure he got it and in monitoring him for anything out of the ordinary.

Sergio is a cat whisperer! He was able to persuade Crumpet to begin eating again after she had lost her appetite for several months before. I can't thank him enough.

I can’t recommend Sergio enough! He was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Wonder. From the start, he was kind, attentive, and reliable. He took her on plenty of walks, gave her so much love and attention, and even sent me the sweetest photo updates that put me at ease while I was away. It’s clear how much he cares, and Wonder adored him. I felt completely confident leaving her in his care, and I’ll definitely be booking with him again.

Sergio was amazing. Great house guest, our dogs were well taken care of. Great communication, provided us with updates while we were away. Highly recommend and we will definitely look to book him again.
