Information Serenity T. would like to know about your pet
I am happy to do limited amounts of behavior modification training while your dog is staying with me if you'd like that! Reactivity is my speciality, I am no stranger to dogs that bark and lunge on leash - just let me know and I am happy to help you and your pets through behavior challenges. I am experienced in giving medications of all kinds and am happy to take on senior dogs, dogs with special diets, and dogs that are on meds.
A typical day
I offer three 10-15min potty walks and one 30-60min neighborhood walk per day to any dog boarding with me. Supervised playtime with my personal dogs for a couple hours a day is also offered to dog-friendly dogs.

Pet care experience
I have been working professionally in various sectors of the pet industry since 2018. I have experience in veterinary medicine, pet retail as a nutrition specialist, and as a dog trainer specializing in reactivity and behavior modification.
Reviews

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this sitter based on our experience. I felt confident booking them because of their excellent Rover reviews. We specifically chose in-home house sitting—not drop-in visits—because one of our dogs is reactive and the other one is anxious, we wanted someone with our dogs for most of the day while we traveled internationally. We booked 4 drop-in visits before our trip, to ensure the dogs did ok with the sitter. And the sitter confirmed they would be with the dogs except for short periods of time. • Fourth of July: Before the stay, I discussed my concerns about fireworks, I took my dogs to the veterinarian for anti-anxiety medication just in case, and specifically chose house sitting so someone would be with them that evening. Around 5:00 p.m., I texted to ask how they were handling the fireworks and whether they needed their medication. The sitter replied that they were doing well. After checking my security cameras, I discovered they had actually left the house around 1:45 p.m. When I asked about it, she said she had gone to a family event and would be back "in a couple of hours." She didn't return until approximately 10:15 p.m., leaving my dogs crated for over 8 hours. During that time they missed dinner, had no potty break, and my emergency contact had to leave her own pet sitting job to let them out, give them water, feed them & give meds to my anxious dog. • Pattern of extended absences: After reviewing my security camera footage, I discovered the sitter had also been away from my home for an extended period of time on July 3. These extended absences were inconsistent with what we had discussed, as I had clearly communicated that only short (under a few hours) absences were acceptable during a house-sitting booking. My dogs are both used to having us home all day with them. • End of the booking: 24 hours before the booking was supposed to end, the sitter informed me that their husband was being admitted to the hospital. I sincerely hope he is okay, and I understand that emergencies happen. However, before anyone had confirmed they could take over my dogs' care, she packed her belongings and left while I was still out of the country. I asked what her plan was, thinking maybe she would act as a drop in, she stated she would not be returning. My daughter ultimately had to cancel her weekend plans and drive six hours to my home. By the time she arrived, my dogs had been crated for 10 hours, had accidents in their crates, and were extremely anxious. As a much smaller point compared to the concerns above, I received only two photos and one video during the entire 8-day stay, and updates generally came only when I initiated contact, despite discussing regular updates before the stay. I hope sharing my experience helps other pet owners make an informed decision when choosing care for their pets.

Fawn was super kind and communicative. This was the first time in 10+ years that we have left our animals and the pictures and updates put us at ease. When we got home you could tell the animals were well taken care of. We will for sure be reaching back out if we need help with our animals again.

Fawn was so amazing with our pets!! It was a last minute trip and they were so accommodating. We received pictures and updates and their responsiveness and care made a spur of the moment trip so much less stressful. We will definitely be booking again.

Fawn is amazing! They are super knowledgeable on pet needs. Your pet will be in great hands. They communicate well and will send pictures throughout. When our flight home was canceled Fawn stayed longer so our dog wouldn’t be alone all day. They really saved us so much stress on an already stressful travel day. Would highly recommend booking with them!
