Pet care experience

Experienced & Reliable (+ Remote)

As someone who grew up with an array of animals and care for many of them. Some of them being multiple dogs, multiple cats, 25+ chickens, birds, lizards, fish, and much more! I've also assisted in farm work, volunteered at animal sanctuaries and helped care for goats, geese, ducks, chickens, cats, and more. Over the years, I have done farm care, cared for elderly senior dogs, young puppy care, and general care animals. Equally important, as someone who works remotely and will be able to be in the home most of the time. Which makes potty breaks, play time, and any other pet needs much easier. Plus it reduces a lot of animal anxieties! Because of be working remotely, animals that are more on the quiet side are definitely preferred because I have frequent video calls. Also ones that are 100% potty trained or wear diapers also preferred. Thank you 😊 When I House & Dog Sit: I do have a preference on the sits that I choose. I'm someone who needs a clean place (not smelly or has infestations), I'd also appreciate the animals being groomed/washed/teeth rushed before I assist (I'm not a certified professional groomer and it's considerate 💖). Overall, I do best with mellow and calm animals, such as small/medium dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, farm animals, and more. Please feel free to ask, I'm happy to answer!

Safety, trust & environment

Caring for animals typically looks like morning walks/potty time, then breakfast, and some play time before I start my work day or getting myself ready. Plus, take care of whatever else they need. Mid-day, around lunch time, I'd take my lunch break, do another potty break for them, play with them, maybe do some tricks and treats, etc. Later in the evening, after getting done with work, I'd decompress and begin to make us both dinner. Along with another potty break, play, tricks, etc. Then again before bed all of the things mentioned above. Plus, cuddles throughout the day and taking care of any medication needs, cuddles, and whatever else they may need. ⭐ For your safety and trust, I respect all religions, political beliefs, and respect all people regardless of gender and ethnicity. May peace, love of all kinds, and respect be the answer. ✨

Serenity is a wonderful communicator who made us feel at ease, house sitting and taking care of our furry ones! She was very kind and even took time and energy to leave the house better than she found it! I hope to have many more bookings with Serenity in the future!

Serenity was an amazing guest in our house with our two dogs. She played ball with Bodhi, (our high-energy, 90lb lab) every day in the yard. Kept my plants & garden alive, made sure Beckett (our 20lb rabbit-hunting doodle with a daily hairdo routine) got a 1:1 walk each day. The dogs were returned to us freshly bathed and our home cleaner than we left it. 10/10 recommend Serenity for a home stay. She works from home and provides thoughtful care during the work day.

Serenity was a truly above & beyond sitter! Theo had tons of 1-1 play time and attention, and really seemed to take to her from the first meeting - I felt 100% comfortable with him in her care and knew he was well taken care of. Serenity was also a fantastic communicator, was super flexible as start/end times shifted, she sent lots of fun updates, and went above and beyond taking care of our home/plants/fish, leaving everything in immaculate condition. Already booked for the next stay - can't recommend her enough!

Serenity was truly exceptional with our senior girl, and we are so grateful for the level of care she provided. From the moment we left, she made sure we felt at ease. We never leave our dogs, and this was so hard to do but she sent regular updates with photos and videos so we could see how comfortable and happy our girl was. These updates meant a lot to us considering our girl is older and needs a little extra attention. Beyond caring for our dog, Serenity grabbed our mail and kept our home incredibly clean. Walking back into a spotless house after traveling was a gift and it speaks volumes about her respect for our space and her professionalism. It was very clear Serenity loves pet sitting! She was patient, gentle, attentive, and treated our little girl like family. We felt completely comfortable leaving our girl in her hands and we'd book again without hesitation. Anyone looking for a trustworthy, thoughtful, and truly outstanding sitter would be lucky to have her. Thank you, Serenity! We truly appreciate you!

Schedule

As someone who works remotely, I'm able to be fairly flexible in the routine of what's needed. Generally, I work for around 4–5 days a week, caring for the animals in the morning, during breaks, and in the evenings. Then for the weekends I'm either traveling around the space/city/outdoors or doing self-care and caring for the animals similarly before or after, throughout the day. I keep their potty break needs in mind and schedule my plans around it. Technically we are considered independent business owners/contractors here. For next steps, I offer a complimentary video call to answer questions, talk, and discuss the sit to see if we're a good fit. 🦴🐾 I look forward to caring for your little baby!! ✨

Overall a full breakdown of what's needed for each of the pets, pet names, medications, additional care steps, tricks they do, the pet's routine and anything I need to know about your home or pet. For home boarding - I need them to be dropped off, all supplies given/shared in a bag (food/water dishes, leash, collar or harness, toys, treats, meds, brushes, etc.), and groomed beforehand please. When getting ready to house sit - I need the wifi speed, wifi access, getting mail steps, access to the home, food locations, favorite parks/walk locations, toy spots, etc.
