I have extensive experience caring for cats of all ages, from energetic 3-month-old kittens to mature cats over 15 years old, including those with special needs like daily tablets feeding and fluid treatments. As a foster carer for Helping Pets North East, I’ve had the privilege of looking after cats with a wide range of personalities. Whether they’re shy, not so affectionate, or super friendly, I have endless patience and equal love for each of them. No matter their temperament, every cat in my care becomes part of my heart.

I can’t speak highly enough of Serene. My normally shy cats took to her immediately. She is gentle and softly spoken which appeals to them. She went above and beyond sending me videos and messages. It’s the first time I’ve left them with a stranger and I was very concerned but it was wonderful to see how happy they were. I would definitely recommend Serene and will choose her again without hesitation.

Schedule
As a website designer who works from home, my schedule is very flexible, allowing me to give plenty of time and attention to the cats I care for. I’m able to take regular breaks throughout the day, which means I can easily fit in feeding, playtime, and, of course, cuddles. Whether it's a quick check-in or spending quality time with the cats, my remote work setup allows me to adapt to their needs and provide consistent, attentive care. This flexibility ensures that I can be there when they need company or just a comforting presence.
