Aloha Pet Parents! 🐾 My name is Serena, local girl, born on Oʻahu and raised on the beautiful island of Kauaʻi. I bring a lifelong love of animals and years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. From working with the 4H Horse National Program to caring for energetic dogs (ages 0 to 12 years, ranging from 5 to 100 lbs) and having my own pets, animals have always been a central part of my life. I’ve volunteered with the local Humane Society and animal-focused nonprofits here in Hawaiʻi, gaining valuable experience with both dogs and cats. Whether your pet needs cuddles, exercise, or just a calm, reliable presence, I’m here to help! I live near Ala Moana Shopping Center and am happy to serve families in or around town. Whether you’re heading out for vacation or just need a dependable companion for your fur baby, I offer flexible scheduling; including same day availability, though advance notice is appreciated. I would be honored to support your ʻOhana and care for your beloved pet as if they were my own. Looking forward to hearing from you!

My goal is to make your furry family member as comfortable and happy as possible, so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away and return to a content, well-cared-for companion. Although my own building is not pet-friendly (so I’m unable to host), I’m happy to come to your home. My own cats are fully up to date on vaccinations and flea treatments, and I bring that same level of care and cleanliness to every pet I look after.

Serena did a great job taking care of our girl! She left us great updates and took plenty of pictures so we wouldn’t miss our kitty too much. She kept us up to date on any changes or needs our kitty had.
Serena was my neighbor for more than 10 years and I have known her for more than 15. She would often take care of my dog and cat when I was out of town, always with great care, love and responsibility. When she visits me now, she is often eager to take my rambunctious Border Collie out for walks and to play ball and frisbee with him. She is truly an animal lover and I trust her implicitly with my pets.
Serena has had experience caring for animals for many years. Being patient and caring with the animals she has cared for over the years sets her apart from other animal caregivers in the business. And anyone would be lucky to have her watching over and giving your furry friend the attention and love it deserves.

Schedule
I am fortunate to be able to have mobility and flexibility in my schedule to offer Rover services. Pet care is included in my daily routine at home and am happy to lend a hand with your weekly routine or pop in for visits as needed.

- Before any stay, I kindly ask for a debrief: a walkthrough of your home’s pet rules, care preferences, and any important medical info + emergency on-island contact for anyone traveling off island. I always aim to create a calm and comforting environment for your furry household while you’re away.
