I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and chickens. I have been responsible for taking care of them throughout my childhood. In high school, I would dog sit for neighbors and family friends. In college, I would house sit as well as walk dogs. I currently have 1 dog of my own. I have cared for elderly dogs who require additional care as well as anxious dogs that need that extra attention and reassurance.

My personal dog is fairly anxious and attached so I care for her by crating her when leaving for more than a couple of hours as this is a safe soothing place for her. My family’s dog is less anxious so she is fine by herself. Generally, I walk them once a day through the neighborhood, occasionally take them to dog parks, and play in the backyard with them. We have a doggy door so they go in and out frequently, but I have house sat and dog sat animals in apartment complexes where I would to take them out frequently during the day.

Serena was amazing! She took great care of our babies even walked Lupin. Serena kept the yard clean of the dogs poop and our house was just as clean as when we left. She washed and replaced the bedding on the bed and bathroom towels. Serena sent pictures and notes everyday!

Serena took marvelous care of my beloved pooch, Mrs. Meatball. I was away for two weeks to watch the Eurovision finals, and I felt really at ease leaving Mrs. Meatball with Serena. I trust her completely and would definitely let her take care of my precious baby next time. Mrs. Meatball was well fed, the yard was cleaned, and everything was in order, thanks to Serena.
Serena took care of my old dog, Shadow. She was so patient and kind with him and was very diligent about replacing his water and feeding him food. She was really responsible and took him on regular walks and kept me updated when I was out of town. Shadow is usually a very shy dog but Serena made him feel so comfortable. Serena is a devoted dog owner to her two dogs, and also has experience pet sitting for both short and long term care! During one of her last dog sits, she took care of an older dog with separation anxiety for over a month, and made sure the dog was never left alone for more than 4 hours a day, while also taking the dog on multiple walks each day and giving her lots of cuddles and love. She has years of experience with caring for dogs.

Schedule
I am home for the summer before going to law school and my schedule is very open and flexible! I love spending times with dogs and animals, so I am eager to do so this summer.
